Location overlooks the river. The train station is very near. Convenient to the town and spa. Nice breakfast, clean room and excellent evening dinner. The manager was helpful.

The place is falling apart...broken showers and furniture. The floor was not cleaned/vacuumed once during the week we were there. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was of poor quality...I expected much better from a nice German hotel in the Black Forest. The location was the only redeeming quality. They even charged us for the “free” transportation pass...really sad! We will not return and I recommend no one stay here.

Got there late (around 11 pm)- after a 2 hr drive - initially went to the wrong Kronen (different town); Doors were closed, attendant (manager/ front desk) answered the phone and opened for us, but was noticeable upset that we were late, short and dry- Sheets had wholes in them, shower was broken ( no shower head holder); Location was nice; Would not book there again.

The area was nice and very quiet. The hotel was not really non-smoking, people were smoking on the Balkony so windows could not be opened. The mattress was really bad. Room was small and had no fridge.

Good hotel
Good sized room with balcony in hotel overlooking the river with a good sized terrace. Nice Riverside walks nearby. Rail station 2 minutes walk across river. €1.95 pppn tourist charge which gives free bus and train transport throughout the black forest region. Brilliant idea!! We ate our evening meal at a small restaurant called Zeller Stuble across the river and would highly recommend it.

Booked 2 rooms - only 1 available on arrival
Chose hotel because all other hotels in area booked up. I was travelling with a work colleague and we had booked a room each at this hotel. We turned up late to check in after flight delay but had been confirmed for late arrival. Called hotel manager who came out to check us in. When manager arrived, he told us calmly and without apology that only one room was available and not the two that we had booked. He offered no explanation except that Expedia books straight into their system. We were offered a folding bed in the room and had to accept. The room was small but we somehow managed to squeeze in the extra bed. I got the main bed which was horribly uncomfortable (feeling springs poking through), so I can’t imagine how bad the folding one was. Breakfast was tolerable but nothing special. On checkout, we were given no paperwork and told that the bill will be on Expedia. Overall a very poor experience - I understand that things go wrong, but an apology would have gone a long way.

When you arrived, there was only one booking in the system. That we explained that and than did what was possible for you. We repetately expressed that we are sorry for the situation, especially since have been traveling throughout Europe. You probably expected us to take the responsibility for it, which we can't. We hope this few explanations are acceptable for you.

Cozy family hotel
A nice cozy hotel, that seems family driven. Breakfast was good and the rooms were big, they even had books to read in the room. Bahrooms seemed brand new.

Nice hotel along the highway
Stayed only one night but everything satisfactory. Beds clean and comfortable. Dinner in dining room was great with a seasonal menu of asparagus which was in season during our time in Germany. Would stay there again - all staff very helpful

Small older somewhat creeky floored upstairs single room. Very clean and nicely appointed. As in hotel pics there is a rug- less floor. Should be one there, especially in Winter. Bed next to heater which actually warmed the room. Friendly staff. Be careful to park where you won't be ticketed!

Cute German Experience
This is a place that I would love to bring my wife for an authentic German getaway. It is a cute town on a river and the hotel sets on the bank. There is also a bridge that crosses the river and takes you to a train station from where you can explore the rest of the country. The Staff of the hotel were great.

Charming hotel tucked in a quaint village
A quaint, quiet hotel with lots of charm. The staff was friendly and helpful. When changed our plans they were very accommodating. The setting is gorgeous! We had a balcony overlooking the small river. There were lengthy walking paths along the river leading to an impressive park.

Al llegar al hotel, lo primero que te llama la atención es el olor, parece que la cocina del restaurante está en la recepción, las habitaciones muy viejas, con una moqueta que parece de hace 20 años, mal mantenidas y no demasiado limpias. Lo único a su favor era que el baño parecía haber sido renovado recientemente. La cama con un colchón de espuma y no demasiado cómoda.

Jeg / vi har benyttet Kronen Hotel tidligere og være godt tilfreds med hotellet. Det ligger smuk ved floden, der flyder gennem Bad Liebenzell. Hotellet har en terrasse lige ved floden. Der er meget roligt og stille, dog afbrydes stilheden engang imellem af lyden fra lokaltoget. Maden var velsmagende og betjeningen venlig og imødekommende. Bad Liebenzell er en mindre kurby med gode udflugtsmuligheder. Ved det aktuelle besøg var der dog ikke tid til at besøge omegnen.

Alles super bis auf die Internetverbindung
Das Hotel sowie die Zimmer sind absolut in Ordnung. Lediglich das Internet ist eine Katastrophe. Selbst bei vollem WLan Empfang wartet man 10 Minuten auf jede Webseite. Wer also darauf wert legt, ist hier leider falsch. Alles andere absolut in Ordnung!

Ohne Heizung, eiskalt. Dringend Renovierungsbedürftig. Preis - Leistung passt nicht. Anscheinend ist das Hotel kurz vor dem Ruin. Bett war ok, Lage ist gut.

Ich hatte das Hotel für 1 Übernachtung gebucht. Das Zimmer war dunkel und erdrückend. Es fehlte ein Vorhang um die ganze Fensterfront zu verdecken. In einer Schublade lag noch der Müll vom Vorgänger. Eine Wandlampe war ohne Abdeckung, so das die Fassung frei lag. Hier wurde wohl jahrelang nicht mehr renoviert. Dieses Hotel werde ich künftig meiden. Darüber hinaus war das Abendessen von sehr schlechter Qualität, so dass die Hälfte zurück ging. Definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Mangelnde Sauberkeit, Heizung tlw. ausser Funktion, Sauna ungepflegt, Dusche ausser Funktion, schmutziger Teppichboden, eine Wanze lief über den Boden. Frühstück ok. Service tlw. schlecht deutsch sprechend. Kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen. Braucht eine erhebliche Renovierung das Hotel.

Therme ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Kostenlose Parkplaetze vor dem Haus vorhanden. Fruehstueck koennte etwas umfangreicher sein.

Hotel sehr abgewohnt, Lampen zerrissen, Spiegel kaputt, Dusche verstopft, Toilettendeckel war locker, Toilette undicht, zu wenig Handtücher, Bettdecke schon vergilbt. Frühstück keine Auswahl, Rührei konnte man nicht essen, billige Aufbackbrötchen. Dafür sind 5 Euro zu viel verlangt. Personal unmotiviert, eher genervt. Raten von diesem Hotel eindeutig ab.

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert ! ! !
Das ganze Hotel wirkt ziehmlich heruntergekommen. Von Sauberkeit keine Spur (Spinnweben an den Treppengeländern, Haare auf den Bettlaaken). Man sieht, dass weniger als das allernötigste gemacht wird. Das Essen war eine Zumutung (mehrer Gerichte waren nicht verfügbar, weil angeblich gerade heute nur ein Koch anwesend sei). Bei der Abreise gab es noch Diskusionen wegen der Bezahlung. Der anwesende Mitarbeiter kannte sich mit dem Betriebssystem nicht aus und forderte die Bezahlung der Übernachtung, obwohl diese über Hotels.com bereits im Voraus bezahlt war.

Lage sehr gut. Küche nicht sehr gut. angebliche Spätzle waren m.e. Bandnudeln und verkocht. Frühstück ok. Fühlte mich bei Reklamationen so la la. Personal sollte mal geschult werden und aufgestockt. M.e. zuwenig Personal. 2 Sachen auf einmal konnte man nicht machen. Bei Bestellungen hatte man zu lange warten müssen

Gute Lage,freundlicher Empfang,Zimmer leider nicht ordentlich geputzt, Haare des Vormieter im Bad etc, Lüftung im Innenbad funktioniert nicht(war vielleicht auch gut so-verstaubt), Befestigung für Duschkopf abgebrochen,zu weiche Matratze (das ist zugegebenermaßen Geschmackssache)
