"We stay here almost every time we come to Virginia Beach. They renovated the hotel a few years back and it looked great. This time we noticed the bathroom wasn’t as clean as usual. We also had to run over to Walgreens to buy some Febreze because the room had a musty odor when we arrived. Hopefully they will fix this issue. Also, we had a king size bed but it looked like they put queen size sheets and top on it. They didn’t cover the bed too well. Despite all of this, we enjoyed our stay and will be back in April!"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room was very dated & a bit shabby. Run down tables, curtains, and walls. Peeling paint & wallpaper. Rusty nails & exposed wall coverings. However, for a quick family getaway, it was fine. The inside pool was freezing, but the hot tub was great. Elevators were good. There was a class reunion holding an event there, so it was a bit busier than expected for the offseason. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. We never had an opportunity to eat there because no one came over to seat us. They were opened & the sign said to “wait to be seated.” We waited for nearly 10 minutes & were ignored. Two servers stood at the bar, chatting away & never even glanced up at us. So, we ended up ordering DoorDash & eating in the room."
