"As soon as we arrived at the hotel's entrance, we were greeted at our taxi by John. He could not have been nicer and it truly was the warmest greeting we have ever received when arriving at a hotel anywhere! As it was early, around 9-930 in the morning, our room was not ready. However, John and the hotel's front desk staff could not have been more welcoming. We were so impressed, we were really sorry that we were only staying for 1 night before returning home. I have already started looking into when we can return to Lisbon and stay for many nights at Corpo Santo Hotel. My partner and I have stayed in many beautiful and luxurious hotels and resorts around the world and no other place truly impressed us with the service and quality that Corpo Santo provided, even in just such a brief stay. We were so disappointed that we had miss, what we have heard, is an amazing included breakfast in the hotel's restaurant to make our early flight. We are so very much looking forward to returning!"

"The property was modern. I also appreciated the attention to green living principles. The biggest issue was the size of my room. We stayed at the Tivoli Hotel prior for a few nights which was about a mile away but wanted to try something new. Compared to the Tivoli, this was a downgrade. The hotel advertises that they are right near everything. Yes, this is true, but who wants to be near Times Square? I could do without the traffic and all the people. The room I stayed in was super small but very comfortable. There was attention to details like fresh water, quality toiletry products and comfortable bed linens. I jammed my toe (it bleed) opening the shower door (the only way it would work) and the water from the shower flowed to the floor. There just was no room to move around. My husband and I joked that it was like the Marx Bros movie A Night at the Opera. Needless to say, if all you want is a modern place to crash near the touristy areas, this might be for you. When I come again, I will stay at the Tivoli or in Principle Real which is more upscale and less touristy."

"Very central and elegant tree-lined boulevard with walking distance to everywhere, restaurants, high end shopping and attractions. Stayed for 4 nights but disappointed after hot water was not available after the second night. Had to call reception the second time and it kinda got solved-it was a long wait of running water to finally get hot water. Out of compensation, I presume, proper room slippers appeared on the 3rd night."

"Would stay again, great location, kind concierge and staff. I feel the staff would benefit from additional service training…had to ask for basic things several times. You will not regret your stay at this hotel…you just have to have patience with the staff who are well meaning but drop the ball. I will say that the staff was able to make several reservations for me before I arrived which I did appreciate."

"The deluxe room was very nice. The hotel had a rooftop bar which had excellent drinks and fancy food bites. All served with super chosen drinks and excellent service. We had all the amenities needed including posh expresso machine (but no kettle or tea!). Very central to restaurants and breakfast places."
