Misleading in terms of the words “resort” since no swimming pool etc. But all staff are super friendly and welcoming. Price is very reasonable too. Got an open air pub just in front which made noise until 11pm. Only one working plug in the room and it was across the room from the bed so if you use a CPAP, then you will have a problem. They are strict in the 2pm checkin but let us leave our bags in the lobby. The breakfast decision is tricky because it is 120baht for toast and hard boiled egg but there is not much else around the hotel. The staff was brusque at times and we got yelled at when we didn't understand that we had to leave our shoes in the lobby. The room was very basic but clean so if all you need is a clean place to sleep then it will be fine. There is definitely really really loud music until 11pm though. Lots of outdoor seating in the garden. A/C works great, WiFi is fast. but also had a lot of trouble organising activities and communicating issues with the staff, who speak very little english (a problem for us, maybe not for others) and often can’t even be found. Despite this they were always friendly, besides the manager who was always abrupt and tried to concinve me I didn’t have a booking. Lots of mosquitos in the room, hot water was temperamental, beds were very, very firm. Its a fairly long and arduous walk into town for food (and to a travel agent to organise tours/trips). Maybe the strangest part of our stay was the fact that you’ve got to lock the front gate each time you enter and exit with a padlock, which if done at night makes an inordinate amount of noise. We booked 2 rooms in the courtyard.The owner said she gave my room to another client because they called in first. I said I booked these 2 rooms together. She said that she will give us 1 courtyard room and another room on the 2nd floor. She also said that if you are not happy, you can cancel that reservation but of course no refund because we booked with Expedia app.unexceptabe.We booked and paid for these rooms well in advance. She simply gave one of or rooms to a walk in . Very very rude. Not recommended at all. Expedia should take this one out of the system. The owner was so rude , not the staff.
