Breakfast is lavish, large spread, although not to the likings of a typical indian vegetarian taste. Just 10 mins walk from Ayutthaya railway station. Good hotel on the outside of Ayutthaya Island. To get to Ayutthaya historical park, you take a tuk tuk for 100 to 200 baht. Alternative you walk to the station ferry pier and take the ferry across to Ayutthaya Island for 10 baht per person and walk 30 mins. Excellent breakfast. Good size quiet room. Lazy room service, had to ask for teabags and to replenish the water. The bathroom appears to be upgraded as from the previous reviews which is a positive but the beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The Lieto restaurant and Pub is closed. The Chinese restaurant Gu-Cherng is excellent. The traditional thai restaurant Suan Rim Num is in an outdoor area which is nice at night. Another positive were the young man and woman who made great cocktails for us at the small cafe/bar in the Lobby area. All restaurants open at 5pm and we couldn't see any lunch availability. The reception staff are incredibly rude and unhelpful.
