SEMI-OCEANFRONT Avon - Oceanview Drive - Ready to go BAREFOOTN'? Then it's time for some fun at this beach house just across the street from the beach. Ground level amenities include carport, dry entry, outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, charcoal grill, and picnic table. Step inside and take your pick of three bedrooms on the first level, all with TVs. A king master bedroom has access to a screened porch and deck and a private bathroom with jetted tub. A second queen bedroom easily accesses the full bath in the hall, shared with the bunk bedroom. Step out to the covered deck to take a dip in the bubbly hot tub with privacy lattice. Upstairs, you'll find the second king master bedroom with access to a second screened porch and deck and private bath with a second jetted tub. The top level also features an expansive great room with oceanview dining area, living area with entertainment center and wet bar, and easy access to the sunny oceanview decks. If you're looking for a peaceful island escape to take a dip in the ocean and get sand between your toes, try BAREFOOTN' this year.

Great stay in the outer banks

We had a great stay at this house. Very very short walk to the beach, directly across the street. Our dog came and the house was perfect for her too.

House needs updates

The house was decent. It really needs a lot of work done to it. Some of the poles on the balcony were broken which caused a lot of anxiety since we had small children with us. The bathrooms seem very outdated, broken tiles, not very clean, broken/loose toilet seats. The couch was dirty looking and very uncomfortable. The beds in the upstairs bedroom and the room with the queen size bed were lumpy and uncomfortable as well. The house had a smell to it like old seafood. The hot tub had a few issues. The shower outside had very little water pressure so it was hard to rinse the sand off after spending time at the beach. Overall the house worked for us, but it’s definitely not somewhere we plan to stay again. I will say the best part was the location. The beach was nearby and has two walking paths close that it’s just a short walk to the ocean.

Great time in the Outer Banks

This property was great. It had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we did not like was the late check in. They had to re-clean something so we did not get in until after 6:00 PM. We had been traveling since 3:00 AM that morning so it was an unfortunate circumstance. Other than that, it was excellent.

Nice view of ocean

The view was better than expected. The property clean and bedroom arrangements were perfect having 2 masters. Got what we expected and were fine with home. Property was priced right given the age but it is probably time to start with repairs to things like cabinet doors, worn spots in carpets and tiles in bathroom. I get this is the first rentals since covid and times are tight

Awesome property

Everything was wonderful. Plenty of cooking utensils. We had a large family group and there was plenty of room for everyone. Would definitely recommend this property!!

Good location, older home

The house was nice but could use some updates. Positives- Games and puzzles for the kids, did come with pans, plates, cups, etc. Loved the decorations. Negatives- could NOT get the living room DVD player to work. After getting a kids movie from Redbox. The PS2 was too old to play DVDs. The upper deck railing was wobbly which was alarming b/c we had small children in our party. The couch was pretty worn and dirty 😬 Overall nice house, GREAT location but could use some updating and a through cleaning.
