OCEANFRONT Avon – Ocean View Dr. – Avast, sea lovers. BEACHFRONT PIRATES, a six-bedroom/four- and one-half-bath home, invites you to set sail on a memorable vacation where sand, surf and sun are yours to plunder.   
  
Bring the family, including up to two of your dog friends, to this beachfront haven which offers a wink to the buccaneers who once roamed North Carolina’s coastline. On the ground level there is an outdoor shower, washer/dryer and a game room featuring a pool table, large cable TV, and wet bar. One level up, the young mates in your group will love the kids’ room featuring two single bunks and a TV with DVD player. Across the hall is a queen bedroom with a Smart TV. Thirdly, a bedroom with two singles provides deck access to the deck, and a TV with Roku Streaming capabilities. These three bedrooms share a full hallway bathroom. There is also a master queen bedroom on this floor with a private ensuite bath and cable TV. From this level you can venture onto the ocean facing deck, where an in-deck 4-person hot tub awaits to soothe you after a day of swashbuckling in the sun.   
  
Another queen master bedroom with cable TV occupies the second level and provides direct access to the great room, kitchen, and dining area. Plan and prepare your family’s meals in a spacious kitchen with new stainless appliances, plentiful refaced cabinets, and a counter with two stools. There’s a breakfast nook in the corner and a larger 10-seat dining table to accommodate everyone for family feasts. The space flows easily into the cathedral-ceilinged great room where a large flat screen cable TV and comfortable furnishings provide a serene space to settle in for the evening. Want a solitary moment to dig into a good book? A separate side den offers the perfect cozy spot. Step outside onto the oceanfront deck and enjoy the show: dolphins frolicking, seagulls flying and the night sky’s constellations which guided seafarers long ago.   
  
Of course, like on any ship, the captain’s quarters occupies the premier space, as is the case with the home’s sixth and final bedroom. The house is in a great location. The bedrooms and bathrooms are situated very nice and convenient. The kitchen and counter top space is minimal and there are very few pots and mixing bowls etc. the living room is small and furniture is dated as well as the interior of the house is dated. However if you are looking for comfortable this is your place!

#### Didn’t meet expectations

We encountered many roaches in this home. Broken toilet paper holders in bathrooms, loose doorknobs that wouldn’t properly lock. Poorly “fixed” holes and marks in the drywall/ceiling, mismatching pain and textures when “fixing” leaving this place feeling unfinished and very used. An unclean odor was noted throughout the home as well. The location was incredible but the actual home left much to be desired and the listing photos were quite misleading. It needs some serious TLC.
