Enjoy multiple levels of furnished decks, an inviting sunroom, ocean and sound views, and access to wide beaches, popular windsurfing areas, and enjoy the Club Hatteras pool at 41156 NC Hwy 12 Avon

    You'll find a lockable storage area to store boards and kayaks outside, as well as plenty of comfortable furnishings inside. There's a convenient wet bar with a minifridge, a spacious living room with beamed ceilings, and an electronics package that includes six TVs (three of which are for DVD use only), six smart Blu-ray players, a stereo/CD player, a smart TV with Netflix access (per your personal login), free long-distance calling in the U.S., and free high-speed WiFi.

    Enjoy the Hatteras Island sunshine and the ocean breeze from the furnished decks. Change your state of mind with a little time at Attitude Adjustment, and discover easy living at its finest!

Location was great and home was very cozy. Very large living area. Mattresses could use some upgrades as they are very firm. If bringing pets be careful walking them because cactus around house are pretty bad.

Very accommodating home

The house fit 4 adults and 4 children perfectly. Plenty of room to spread out and not be right on top of each other. It’s located confidently to grocery options as well as off road vehicle access to the beach. The community pool was a great addition.

Overall a really nice home. Very spacious, close to the beach and stores, well equiped. A few frustration that could easily be fixed :(dishwasher is filthy and stains dishes, a few broken things to repair/replace and cleanliness of the sheets)

This house is the perfect location for those who love sunrise & sunset! The views from the 3rd level look out are spectacular! There is plenty of room in the house and several decks to enjoy the sunshine. The kitchen is well equipped for those who love to cook. The easy beach access was great for taking our dog for a run on the beach. I highly recommend this property. It has been my husband's favorite so far!

if only the door locks worked!

i want everyone to know we had a wonderful time at the property. Our problem was with the door lock. When we arrived, it did not work. On the phone, we were given other codes that did not work. They called the local on-call guy and he was great. Used a code that got us in the house once. After he left and we were in the house, we had to leave all the entrances unlocked to make sure we could get in the house. They promised to come out the next day and correct the situation. But IT NEVER HAPPENED!! So, that was the black mark on the time there. Otherwise, we found the place to be near perfect! everyone enjoyed the property and the chance to relax. FYI, in a stiff wind, the house does sway. Freaks you out the first time, but we got used to it. We are already planning to return in the fall during shoulder season!! Would recommend...if they get the locks fixed.

We have stayed in Attitude Adjustment over a dozen times. We love the practical layout, mini bar, placement of decks that work for different times of the day, and the easy access to the beach. We've tried other homes, but only when we can't Attitude Adjustment!

Annual Avon Awesomeness

This house was practically perfect- we were able to spread out with our four teens (essential) and enjoy family time as well. The table was great for family dinners and game nights. The couch was perfect for a large family movie! The kitchen is well stocked - felt like home! Great views all around of both the ocean and the sound!

Perfect family vacation!

The house was clean and well equipped for our family to cook, eat, and play. There was a short beach access to the beautiful Avon Beach. The decks surrounding the house gave us great views of the sound and the ocean. We hated to leave, and will definitely look at staying here next time!

This house is situated between the ocean and the sound and you have beautiful views of both from the living rooms and of course the many decks. The house is huge with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, a wet bar, and spacious fully stocked kitchen. We absolutely loved our stay there.

I want to thank you for the wonderful time we had at your rental in Avon. The home was beautiful, clean and comfortable with all the amenities. It is truly a home away from home. I particularly enjoyed the pool and relaxing with one of the many books available. Spent a lovely time in the picturesque town of Manteo and the Cape Hatteras Museum which was close by.
