"This property is definitely more motel than hotel. The location near Moody Center is excellent, and the bed itself was comfortable, which is the main reason I’m giving it two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was pretty rough.
The room and hotel overall felt very rundown and poorly maintained. Four out of the six lights in the room didn’t work, including the bathroom vanity light, which made getting ready difficult in such a dim space. The mirror also had a noticeable film of dust or grime on it that made the room feel unclean. To make matters worse, the in-room phone didn’t work, so contacting the front desk wasn’t even an option.
The bedding situation was strange as well — there was no actual blanket or comforter on the bed, just two sheets, so I ended up using towels to stay warm overnight.
Breakfast was disappointing too. The food selection was minimal, and the toasters barely functioned; I had to physically hold the lever down the entire time just to toast anything.
Overall, the property gave off a neglected, uncomfortable vibe. While the location is convenient, I would not stay here again."
