The hotel is updated, I would not say the rooms are dated but there was an odd smell in the room like a mint air freshener that was weird. The room itself was ok, not spotless, but just ok. The halls were dirty, they were in much need of vacuuming and most garbage bins inside and outside the hotel were always filled with trash. The staff was not welcoming. They were not mean, but if you walk into a hotel, you should at least be greeted with a Hello. Never happened once over the 5 days we were there. The room also has the bare minimum - two bath towels, one hand towel, one washcloth. We had to ask for more. The elevator sometimes worked. They had a sign posted that it was not functioning properly, but thankfully we were on the 2nd floor. The breakfast was sufficient. Coffee was kind of blah and not piping hot but the offerings were ok and did the trick for a quick bite before we left for the day. There is A LOT of construction in the area. The entrance is not clearly marked and if you miss it, you have to go out of the way to get back. The hotel was needed for our visit but we will not return to this hotel.

Air conditioner was out, my room had some almonds in the corner I thought they were droppings at first. Also the hotel was a little funky due to air circulation. Construction happening right in front of the hotel too but I will say it is right off the main highway so thats great. Also staff was helpful.
