We took a short walk just before lunch, came back to our room and the key pad to our room would not work. No one answered the security number, got in touch with Josh, said he was property manager/owner?,don’t know which. He stated he would just put us in another room, no problem…well, everything we had was in our room that the door wouldn’t open to. After about an hour had passed…We had to use the restroom, and had to search the premise's to find an open restroom to use. He later called and said he could not find anyone to open the room, due to it being Christmas Day, but will try to locate a locksmith to come open it. He called again and said that someone is in route to open the door, and will be there in about 15 minutes. Two Hispanic females arrived, did not attempt to speak or make contact with us, opened the outdated key pad, put in a new battery, and it worked. They already knew the code, and were obviously housekeeping, etc. I asked where they worked, one said Mexico, the other said iTrip Austin!It was nearly two hours, when we got back into our room, besides this problem, everything went well. Nice condo with everything you need. Right off the pool and close to elevator for ease of parking lot. Nice amenities. We had a wonderful stay! The condo was clean and perfectly located near the elevator and pool. Besides needing a few groceries to make it through the weekend, the condo was stocked with everything we needed. The view of Lake Travis is breathtaking! Along with enjoying the pool and tennis court, we visited nearby Emma Long Park on Lake Austin and Blue Hole in Georgetown. Owners left us a welcome basket and were good at communicating any issues. Our unit was clean with all the amenities we needed. One of the outdoor hot tubs wasn’t working initially, but it was just a short walk to the other one and it was fixed after 1-2 days. The condo was decorated cute; however, the shower doors didn’t close properly bathroom towels were very worn and almost thread bare, and the soap in the bathroom was a combination of different types to conserve $$ I can only guess.
