Your home away from home is nestled just a block off the lake, in beautiful Texas Hill Country! Surrounded by mature trees and lush landscape, this home brings you back to nature. With ample parking, you can bring your family and friends, jet skies or boat. As guests, you'll enjoy a short walk or drive to our private 50 acre waterfront park, complete with boat launch, play structures, picnic area, disc golf, and glorious sunsets. Other neighborhood amenities include Point Venture Golf Club and driving range, The Caddy Shack Sports Bar with various scheduled food trucks, Captain Pete's Boathouse marina restaurant, a large Junior Olympics sized pool, full gym, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, and community library.

We offer everything you need to relax on your getaway!

Off our spacious entryway is a King Bedroom and shared half bath.

The downstairs dining and family room are great for gathering around to eat, play games, or watch the big game!

The kitchen is fully equipped with:
-Pots and pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, cooking utensils, etc.
-4 slot toaster
-2 Way coffee maker, compatible with ground coffee and K-Cups.
- Ninja Blender
- Basic pantry essentials
- 7 Quart Crockpot
- Brita water filter pitcher, and more!

The upstairs loft hosts a foosball table, variety of games, stocked mini-fridge, and ample seating to unwind after a day on the lake.

Off the loft is the second story balcony that's great for watching the sunrise or reading a book while you catch some rays!

The Primary King Room, complete with shower, separate tub, his and hers sinks, and large walk-in closet, Smart TV, and fold out futon for any little ones that might be bunking with mom and dad.

Also upstairs, you'll find the second King bedroom with Smart TV, the double bunk room, and a full shared bathroom.

Reminder: Don't forget to pack your fishing poles and pool toys! It can all be stored in our large garage next to our PING PONG TABLE!

Really enjoyed the house! The only thing I would say is that if anyone is disabled, all of the showers and baths are upstairs. I was OK but if this would’ve been last year, I wouldn’t have been able to make it up the stairs. Otherwise, I loved having our own access to the private boat ramp in the park. And we had great communication. We worked on music and were totally relaxed when staying there! Thank you Ashley!

Nice roomy house in a good neighborhood

We had a great time at this house. It is well stocked with things you may need during your stay. Our kids loved the nearby pool and beach and especially feeding the deer in the area. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and clean. Highly recommended!

The house was great. Plenty of sleeping space. Very clean and had the little things you would forget when you travel. Coffee spices and foil etc. The kids loved that the deer come up to the driveway and that there was deer corn in the garage.

When we arrived there were Easter Eggs hidden all over the house, the kids loved it! Super sweet detail. The house was really clean. Had about everything we could need. Plenty to keep all kids, teens and adults entertained. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Perfect Spring break getaway

Our two families had a great time in Lago Vista! The private beach was perfect for our kids to play! The sand was so soft and playground nearby was a hit with our kids. We had the beach to ourselves most of the day, it was so peaceful and quiet. The house was stocked perfectly for us and we had plenty of room for our two families. The deer were so fun to watch as well. The house was very clean and had plenty of entertainment with ping pong and foosball table. The floating restaurant nearby was also so fun. We would love to visit again.

The listing was exactly what it looks like. Clean, beautiful property in a very nice neighborhood. The host was very easy to get ahold of and accommodated our every need. There were toys for kids and a high chair which was very helpful. Our only issue was we didn’t realize how isolated the location was. I would recommend mapping out what you’re in town for and as long as it’s not too far of a drive I think anyone would be very happy here!

Best rental experience!

My extended family and I like to split vacation home costs when we visit other family in the Austin area. This by far was the best VRBO experience. There is plenty of space and activity options for kids, ours range in ages 2-7. We loved gathering in the livingroom while the kids played upstairs or in the back yard. The home is well lit and decorated. We even took a few impromptu family pictures.

Just Book It!

We're local-ish (Round Rock) but decided to staycation in Point Venture this spring and had a great time! We reached out to the host ahead of our stay to inquire about golf cart and boat rentals and Ashley was so kind and willing to provide us with information to help make it a great stay. Our kiddos had the best time at the beach and the pool. The home was equipped with a grill and propane, so we were able to cook dinners on the deck and enjoy the beautiful weather. We woke up to the deer each morning, which was definitely a highlight of the trip! The home was clean well cared for; beds and linens were super comfy (and I'm picky about that!). Everything we needed (and then some) was provided by the host - pool towels, sand toys, laundry detergent, even a few items that we forgot and didn't expect to be there, like a first aid kit and coffee k-cups! I work in real estate with many clients who own short-term rentals, so take my word for it - this beautiful home is a fantastic value for your stay in Point Venture!

Great time with friends

5 stars all around! The property is as shown in the pictures, plus more. We enjoyed the two outdoor decks with chairs and a grill. There was also a ping pong table in the garage. Parking was great with plenty of room for the 5 cars we brought. You could easily park a boat or small RV. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There were also kids plates, cups, bowls, and a few kids toys in the bunk room, plus the foseball table and ping pong table. Great property for families. Property was very clean all around. Bedrooms were clean and the king sized beds were nice and comfortable. We saw deer everywhere! The host had excellent communication, check in and out procedures were very clear, and we felt right at home. Location was great, just be aware you’re about 10 minutes away from a little corner store, 20 minutes from gas and groceries, and 30 minutes from “going in to town” bigger shopping. Saving this property for future events. It was great.
