Getting Around: We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Please be aware. \- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters, especially if they are found dead, does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. \- For longer term stays over 30 days, guests are required to pay for monthly full-home cleaning services at $90/clean. This requirement cannot be waived and must be paid prior to each monthly cleaning service. \- Guests will be able to park for free in any of the non-covered and/or non-reserved spots around the complex, as long as you hang the parking tag we provide from inside the unit on your rearview mirror when parked. Two (2) parking tags will be provided, so all cars beyond two (2) will need to be registered with the parking vendor's portal for 24-hour guest parking and renew the registrations every 24-hours. Guests will be able to park for free on complex property in non-covered and non-reserved spots. \- Please be aware that the apartment is located close to a popular Austin bar that occasionally plays live music in its outdoor stage, which might result in noise leakage into the apartment whenever there are performances. \- Pets ARE allowed depending on size and are subject to pet fees. Please let us know beforehand and add the pet count to the reservation and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. The location was close to downtown Austin with easy accessibility to the interstate. It also was close to grocery stores and restaurants. The quantity of available linens was rather sparse. A couple more bath towels would have been welcomed. And oddly, there were no top sheets on either bed -- just a fitted sheet and comforter. In addition, having a few hangers in the closet for use would have been a nice perk. Overall, the property met our expectations and made for a fun week exploring the Austin area. ##### Claudia P. Upstairs neighbor is a heavy walker. Enjoyed the bath tub and temper-pedic bed was comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with essentials. Doesn’t offer any toiletries so make sure to bring some.
