Getting Around: We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Please be aware. \- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters, especially if they are found dead, does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. \- For longer term stays over 30 days, guests are required to pay for monthly full-home cleaning services at $90/clean. This requirement cannot be waived and must be paid prior to each monthly cleaning service. \- Guests will be able to park for free in any of the non-covered and/or non-reserved spots around the complex, as long as you hang the parking tag we provide from inside the unit on your rearview mirror when parked. Two (2) parking tags will be provided, so all cars beyond two (2) will need to be registered with the parking vendor's portal for 24-hour guest parking and renew the registrations every 24-hours. Guests will be able to park for free on complex property in non-covered and non-reserved spots. \- Please be aware that the apartment is located close to a popular Austin bar that occasionally plays live music in its outdoor stage, which might result in noise leakage into the apartment whenever there are performances. \-Pets ARE allowed depending on size and are subject to pet fees. Please let us know beforehand and add the pet count to the reservation and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. The basics of the listing were acceptable. For example towels were thin, basic and similar to what one would expect if staying in a cheap hotel. In addition the water pressure of the shower is in desperate need of some help as it was about the speed of a babbling brook. Overall the place needs a super deep clean as the baseboards have a layer of others hair and dirt and the corners in the top of the shower had what looked like fruit flies living in the corner. Easy check in although the communication from the owners was a bit much reminding me of rules and regulations to follow daily throughout my 4 day stay. I won’t be staying here again in the future and recommend others to avoid if at all possible. ##### Jessica S. Stayed 4 nights in Jul 2024 ### 4/10 Poor #### Justin S. 28 Jun 2025 Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Very Low Quality Rental Besides a great location near the lake, there isn’t anything else to rave about this rental. The complex didn’t feel safe, the dishwasher didn’t work, there were broken plates on the deck, the shudders were literally falling off the mounts, and there were no updates or pieces of luxury to be found as the listing described. A couple really important notes: NO LAUNDRY IN UNIT (they hide this fact and in the Long description of the property) and BATH TOWELS ARE TERRIBLE. Additionally, the unit smelled very weird and the water pressure was…well, there was no water pressure. I would say it’s almost priced accordingly, but the description implies something much higher caliber. If you need two beds and microwave alone, this is your place. Last note, parking lot is VERY tight. I would not come here with a large SUV or standard size pickup truck. ##### Justin S.
