This was such a wonderful hotel to stay in for a Mom and Daughter vacation. It is walkable to museums, the state capital, UT-Austin, etc. And there are some fun restaurants around as well. The only little bummer is that parking is valet only and it's $45 a night.

Pros: staff was friendly, the hotel location is good. Walkable from 6th street. Cons: the room had a bad odor. I informed the staff at the time of check-in but no corrective action was taken. The hotel has no option for self parking (paid). The valet parking is exorbitant.

The location was good for the 6th St venues but not for the Congress St venues. Our shower door did not close properly and water was all over the floor. We reported it and asked for new bath mats but they never brought them. The next day we took one from the maid on the floor. The pool was extremely small.

Staff were very nice and helpful, In a great location for walking around. Room was lovely but the pull out couch bed was so thin it felt like I was sleeping on metal poles. But other than that it was safe and clean.

Apparently everyone pays a $150 security deposit. Unclear when you get it back. I asked for early check in. Instead my room wasn’t ready until an hour after NORMAL check in. At first they said they had no idea when it would be ready. I had nowhere else to go and they didn’t offer me any compensation or discount or bar credit for while I just wait in the lounge with all my stuff. My room smelled like sewage but it turned out it was just a pillow that smelled weird. Really noisy all night even on 7th floor because of a club next door. Unlike other hotels they don’t have a free shuttle for the area around. Breakfast was complimentary and great.

The security deposit gets released after checking out which means it is unclear because it is different with everyone especially with what type of card was used. I hope that clears up the confusion. It does help sometimes to call your bank to have them release the hold for you.

This was a trip that my sister and I took for our annual “sister trip”. The lady that initially checked us in was very nice and offered a free upgrade along with checking in early. The room was basically a small apartment and it was very nice. There were a few little cleanliness details that I had issue with but I only alerted them of one and that was one of the comforters being dirty. Someone brought us some more blankets in a pretty timely fashion and all was well. The neighborhood seemed okay. There is a little club/restaurant behind the hotel bldg and it can get a little noisy at night, but that didn’t bother us. It may be an issue with people with kids or people that are light sleepers. The hotel is in good proximity to pretty much everything without being right dead in the center of all the action. Very walkable. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, however the building is U-shaped. The room we had was inside the U and the windows looked across at another room. We couldn't even look out the window to see whether it was raining or the sun was out. When I asked to move I was told all the rooms with two beds are in the same location in the hotel. The room was only cleaned every other day, We ran out of toilet paper and kleenex and had to call to have supplies delivered.

This is a great hotel. Great location friendly staff. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and living room and full kitchen. They also offer laundry facilities. There is a great breakfast buffet included . Lots of fresh fruit and eggs bacon potatoes toast and french toast. Very good. !!!

Loved the Valet Parking. Kitchenette could have more in it, but we weren't planning on cooking so it wasn't a big issue. We walked all over from the location. You could hear music at night, but it was fun to listen too.
