Perfect Location!
It was only a 2 minute walk to the venue for the wedding we were attending as well as close enough to walk to local restaurants, convenience stores, the Capitol Building and downtown. The house was nicely furnished with a well-stocked kitchen and all the bathroom necessities you may have forgotten. Loved the sprawling oaks in the yard and relaxing with our morning coffee on the porch.

Great place great location.
Had a great time here, house was perfect, parking spot was a big plus. Owner had a welcome 6 pk of beer for us and was very responsive. Walkable to most of the entertainment, about a mile or so. Would stay again, thanks.

Great little townhouse tucked away near the state capitol. Beautifully decorated inside, with full kitchen for self catering. Walkable to most of the city attractions. Hosts are very accommodating and communication was easy. Highly recommended!

A Quick Getaway
It was such a cozy house just enough for six adults. We enjoyed the closeness of different businesses around us. We enjoyed our walk around the neighborhood. We could see the top of the capital building which was pretty cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book this location again. 😊

Perfect, Comfortable Getaway
A friend and I headed to Austin for a 3-day visit to see an event at 3ten. The location of the property was a great, central location. We walked almost everywhere to enjoy the sights - Franklin's, the Capital, Kinfolk, etc. Ted was very accommodating and let us have an earlier check in since our flight was earlier in the day. He even came out to greet us and ask how we were. The townhouse was the perfect size and had everything we needed - extra blankets for lounging on the couch, umbrellas for rainy days, plenty of towels and kitchenware. Thanks again for hosting us!

Great little house, good location, quiet neighborhood
The house is small but has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Downstairs is a kitchen/dining room, living room, bathroom, and a patio outside. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Upstairs are two bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans, and one bathroom. For those willing to climb a ladder, the rooftop deck has a table for 6 that is perfect for relaxing with snacks and drinks. Both bathrooms have small showers only (cruise ship size), but water is hot and pressure is good. There is an off-street parking spot that was long and wide enough for my Tacoma, which is rare in Austin. My husband had a problem getting the TV to work before football, but host Ted came immediately and took care of the problem. We could hear faint music one night that sounded like a concert, but it concluded before 11 and didn't bother us. Other than that, the neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. The location is within walking distance of the Capital, 6th Street, and many restaurants. It was perfect for a long weekend.

Great Place & Location for Downtown Activities
We came to Austin to go to a concert at the Paramount Theater and decided to make a 3 day weekend of it. The townhouse was the perfect choice in that it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do including the concert. The townhouse had everything we needed and was clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the decks both in the morning and evening. We would definitely stay here again when and if we go back to Austin

Loved it!
Cute and easily accessible townhouse close to the downtown scene. My husband, kids, and I walked to various Austin sights. The kids had no problem walking to the Congress St. bridge to see the bats! Yes and Janelle were wonderful hosts!

Wonderful stay!
Great location and home. Generous hosts that have provided for all your needs. All the details have been taken care of in the home from soap to coffee filters, etc. Our party of three women felt very safe in this location. We had a rental car but it could be walkable to several areas. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent again if we were in Austin.

Our stay at this cute townhouse could not have been better! The owners are very responsive and provided an outstanding property. The photos are true—the townhome is SUPER CLEAN which mattered to me. They provided amenities like coffee, creamer, sweetener, and toiletries. The third floor deck was really nice to see the Capitol dome and watch the high-reaching fireworks for MLK day. The ground floor deck was a surprisingly peaceful place to relax. The property has two nice bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom. The ground floor has a small living room with a pullout sofa, bathroom, small kitchen/dining area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Many thanks to Ted and Janelle for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely perfect for us!
Loved the setting. On the loft floor you could go out and sit among the trees which we all loved as it makes a little bit county while in the convenience of the city. Easy walks to downtown Austin and we were 67, 66, 36 and 30. The hosts were very prompt in answering any questions. Will stay here if we come to Austin again and available. ( You would have tobe able to negotiate stairs unless sleeping on sleep sofa.)

This is a convenient, cute home. It was perfect for my husband and I and our daughter and her husband for our short wedding stay in Austin. So much better than a hotel with homey touches. Thankful for the kitchen set ups and also the book on recommendations!

We absolutely LOVED staying here. It was in a great location (close to campus and downtown), extremely clean and spacious, had everything we needed, and the hosts could not have been nicer! We are Texas Alumni who were back in town for the football game, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! Will definitely look to book again in the future.

Very happy customers!
We had such a great stay with our two little ones! We were able to easily walk downtown to see some sights. The neighborhood was nice and quiet which was great for our toddlers. We were so pleasantly surprised at how well equipped it was with basic toiletries and cleaning supplies. Ted and Janelle were super quick to respond when we had a hot water question late at night (which ended up being user error). Check in and check out were both incredibly simple. We’ll definitely look at coming back to this incredible, one-of- a-kind townhome next time we’re in the area!

Perfect Austin stay location!
This listing was perfect for our trip to Austin! The location was more than ideal! Almost walking distance to the heart of downtown Austin and less than 30 mins from the airport. If you choose not to walk, downtown restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and shops are no more than a 10-15 drive and/or ride share trip. The townhouse away clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was stocked of anything and everything you could need, including a nice 6 pack of beer in the fridge at arrival! We would definitely stay here again if/when we visit Austin!

Great house!
This was the perfect place for our trip! We had 6 people and there was enough room for all of us. The house was in a good location to downtown and to bars and restaurants and it was stocked with plenty of toiletries. The local beer was a super sweet touch! My only complaint was that the pull out couch bed wasn't a mattress, it was more like couch cushions, but it worked for the weekend! Overall, great stay and I would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed ourselves
This was a great place to stay. Cute little house. The owners had literally everything you would need (or forgot to bring from home or garb at a the store) available. There was even coffee and seasonings and they had a sweet note with 6 locals beers in the fridge waiting for us when we arrived! The house is spacious and the bedrooms are very nice. There is a patio out back under a huge oak tree and a roof top patio with a very large table for everyone to enjoy the sunset or an outdoor dinner. The only thing that we didn’t have, that we wish was available was a BBQ pit. We bought steaks and making them in a pan or stove, just isn’t the same. Otherwise, we would certainly stay here again when in Austin!

Thanks very much for your wonderful review Karen. We agree that a BBQ pit would nice to have. But, given the low hanging branches and ongoing risk of fire, it's not safe to have one on the patio or roof deck. Wish we could. Thanks again.

Clean & convenient, would happily stay again
We really enjoyed our stay at 11 Oaks Townhouse. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities we would need for a short stay. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but just a short 15-20 minute walk to 6th Street & the rest of downtown. It was also really easy to use Ubers when we didn’t feel like walking & the rides were usually around $10-12. The only downside was the ongoing construction next door that started pretty early on the weekdays, but the hosts did provide white noise machines and ear plugs which were appreciated.

Perfect spot for a storm
So pleased with this little historic gem! We easily got around on foot to check out Austin and grab a bite to eat. Ted and Janelle were super communicative leading up to the trip, providing great instructions, easy access upon arrival and even a welcome note with local beers. They were easy to get ahold of during our stay when I had a question. I appreciated the notice about construction (and the noise machines/ ear plugs were thoughtful), though we hardly heard it! Must be thick walls. The place was well stocked with pots, cleaning supplies and even travel toiletries. We really really appreciated the big spray as we didn’t anticipate how assertive those mosquitoes would be. The ONLY thing I’d suggest for future guests would be a some kitchen accessories such as foil, baggies and a few reusable containers. Minor detail that would be helpful. Thanks again for the hospitality!!
