Newly remodeled modern-retro, minimalist 500-SF house is a comfortable home base ideal for business travelers and tourists. We look forward to hosting you in the heart of East Austin, just 2 miles from the convention center, and 12 minutes from the airport. We are kid-friendly (child safety locks), and accept up to 3 dogs and cats for a one-time fee of $25.

Infractions of House Rules (i.e. unauthorized parties/ large gatherings, smoking in the home, etc.) are subject to a minimum fee of $150.
*Early check-in available upon request for $25.

Wonderful stay

Perfect location and homemade for exploring Austin. Clean and cheerful, absolutely loved having the washer and dryer as well as yard for the pup.Would stay here again!

Casita Paquita is perfect for one or two folks. The fact that it's dog friendly makes it even better. Very clean, great location and easy communication with the owner. Will definitely stay again.

Quiet street. quiet neighborhood! Walking distance to some fun bars. Super driveable to downtown and 6th street.

Friends Birthday Gathering

So much better than a hotel....very nice ,clean & cozy ....our 2 dogs also enjoyed their stay ...they had a private ,safe area for them to explore in the back yard ...Our host was great & responded quickly to any questions....I really appreciated the variety of coffee & the live plants!! Felt like home away from home ..We will definitely return & refer.

Short business trip

The home was exactly as described. It is located in a great central location. Sam's BBQ right down the street looks rough, but its some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little spot

This was a perfect little house in a very quiet neighborhood. We were in town for the Pearl Jam shows at Moody Center and the location was great for Ubers to and from the venue. The next time I'm in town, I'll definitely check to see if this place is available!

Great East Austin Location

Small house was perfect for my wife and I and our dogs. The little fenced yard was great for their late night potty breaks. House was as described. Location was great: I walked dogs several times and grew to appreciate how diverse the neighborhood is. Excellent food trucks and restaurants in the neighborhood. Very easy access to downtown and IH 35, if you avoid rush hour. All in all, excellent bang for the buck. Thanks, Cesar.

Great spot, fun neighborhood

We needed a place to stay in Austin after the eclipse, and this one was a find. The high end appliances and climate control options were great, and the fast WiFi came in handy when I needed to be in a remote long distance meeting for several hours. Our dog settled right in, and especially liked the little fenced backyard. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, just blocks from all kinds of takeout windows and food trucks in one direction, with a nice running/biking trail and light rail in the other. There were even fireflies! We only wish we could have stayed longer (especially since the food trucks and nearby BBQ were closed on certain days). Highly recommended!

Easy East Austin

Cute house, super convenient location and we loved the little yard for our pup. The off street parking spot is a great feature as well. I wish the house was a little cleaner, the water pressure in the bathroom sink is quite low and the back door sticks badly but all those are fixable items. I was double charged for the pet fee even though we brought only one of our dogs but maybe the host will make it up next time. No big deal. Overall comfortable, enjoyable stay.

Perfect casita in East Austin

We were in town to visit with our daughter and celebrate her recent graduation from UT. Cesar's place was clean, cozy, well-appointed (we loved the LG Styler!), and in a great location!Sadly, we probably won't be coming to Austin much on these sorts of trips anymore, but we'd highly recommend Casita Poquita to others!

Great location and property

We were invited to a last minute going away party for a friend in Austin, and needed a place to stay that would be safe and dog-friendly on a short notice. Cesar was very communicative and the property was fantastic and clean. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect location and fully equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a great location, we were able to walk to many restaurants and bars. It was very quiet at night. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We travelled with our dogs so being pet friendly was amazing. We wish we had longer and would definitely return.

Exactly what we needed and for a reasonable price. Love the neighborhood. Some of the supplies could have been topped off…dishwasher soap, coffee pods, but not a big deal. Would stay again if I’m lucky enough to get back to Austin.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this cute little house. We were only in Austin for a short period of time, but this met our needs nicely. The proximity to downtown and the airport was great, and we discovered a few cool places within walking distance. I would say that overall you need a vehicle to really enjoy the location, but we had read that in other reviews and knew it would not be a problem. The host was very communicative, and was there when we needed him. A thunderstorm ended up tripping a breaker on the electrical panel, and instead of letting us hunt the property for the panel he insisted on coming by and correcting it himself. It was appreciated and made us feel valued as guests. Would definitely stay here again on future visits.
