We didn't need the parking pad in back (street parking in front was fine) but were glad to have it as an option.Check-in was easy, instructions were clear. Host is super responsive to any concerns. Here are a list of pros and cons. Pros: The host answered my questions in a timely manner. Place was clean and stocked with basic items. Beds were comfortable and prepared with fresh sheets. Lovely backyard. Quiet neighborhood. Cons: The neighborhood looked sketchy The bath towels had suspicious orange stains everywhere on them. If there was no available parking in the front of the house then you’d have to park in the back which would have been fine if I could lock the back door from the outside when I left anywhere; there was not so I had to lock the back door from the inside, go out the front door (lock it) then walk from the front yard to the backyard where I was parked. Just as described and easy and simple. We come to town to play poker at The Lodge and this worked perfectly. Definitely planning on rebooking this location on future trips!
