I was in a room in the basement. The room itself was clean and quiet; however I could hear water trickling from the upstairs apartments (presumably) from toilets being flushed. Would hear this through the day and even through the night, which could be startling. The room did also have a bit of a "drain" smell to it. The room had only a small window which looked out to the main pavement, so I couldn't have the curtains open as people could look down into the room. Also had to stand on the bed to reach it to open/shut it (I'm average height)
Walking through the basement area, the space outside reception had big sacks for recycling lying open which wasn't too sightly.
No wine my reservation, though I should have with my membership.
Check in process was straightforward, I got into the main door and the key box easily.
All that said, the location was fantastic - it was a very short walk to the Old Town. A Starbucks round the corner, sadly the Zabka nearby was shut for refurbishment. The room was clean, spacious, had great storage and the kitchenette was handy for the fridge/cutlery etc. I would stay again (but hopefully on a higher up floor!)
