Spacious Quiet New York Loft style Apartment
Your large and stylish apartment is centrally located close to Auckland's best restaurants, cafes, pubs & nightlife, green parks & the Britomart train bus/ ferry transport hub. You’ll love the high ceilings and skylights. Light & spacious, our recently refurbished 74sqm apartment is on the top floor of a unique 1904, 3 storied boutique Heritage building, the 'Carlisle'. Fully carpeted throughout and located at the rear of the building so it is nice and quiet. Very central, but without big city bustle, thanks in part to being located on a one way street. Features skylights, exposed native Kauri wooden beams, high stud, open plan layout w/ alcove for dining, large lounge, full kitchen & 2 Juliet balconies. There is one queen size bed in the loft bedroom and a trundler bed which can become two King singles or a single King size bed. Amenities include: gas stove top cooking, oven and microwave; linen & towels; Free to air TV, lots of DVD's for the kids and Netflix (as well as access to other media apps); high speed wireless internet with unlimited data download; a complimentary car park suitable for small to medium sized vehicles - and a small library! There are several gyms nearby as well as the public swimming pool 'The Teps.' You are most welcome to use everything you find in the kitchen: juice, tea, coffee, milk and cereal. We also leave you all the essentials, such as toilet paper, soap, dish-washing powder/ liquid, laundry powder - to help you settle in.

Just like being at home, had everything we needed to chill and have a comfortable stay. Easy walking to transportation services. Number of pubs and restaurants near by and a supermarket.
We had the best time in Auckland, and hugely due to this beautiful apartment. It’s location was just perfect - many walking miles were covered! The apartment itself was just gorgeous - super clean and tidy and very homely!
This apartment is a great location for folks wanting to visit Auckland. You are within walking distance to the harbor, ferry, lots of restaurants and parks. The building is on a bit of a hill, so be prepared to walk up and down.

bedroom up steep steps, a bit small but as advertised. The place was clean, nicely laid out, cosy. Near everything CBD. For a very short stay (as ours was) car not necessary.
Peter is a well-organised host showing great flexibility. The apartment is very centrally located yet quiet; but poorly sound-proofed when there is a party by the neighbours (only once during our stay; the property manager had to come).
Apartment is as advertised in terms of layout with some discrepancies re equipment, e.g. Nespresso machine; nonetheless very manageable for us.
It is very cosy, especially in the master bedroom under the roof where all the heat accumulated. Beware that the internet is very good, whereas working remotely and living activities require a fair amount of (re-)arrrangements.
Overall recommended for those that come on a holiday and spend their time out and about in lovely Auckland.
We chose this property to stay at as it was close to the CBD and transport - this proved to be a great choice for us as we didn't have a car for 2 days. The amenities were fairly good and comfortable other than the single bed area under the stairs which got a little stuffy. Unfortunately, we happened to stay at the property on a Saturday night when a house party was happening in the adjacent building which kept us up a lot of the night! This is no fault of the property or property manager as they were excellent to communicate with and left plenty of good information. Also, the other aparments in the building were respectfully quiet after dark. It was just unfortunate timing. If staying in an apartment in Auckland CBD, you should know that there is a hotline to call if you need to complain about noise - local council provide this service (wrong number in the information booklet left at the property - just search for "Auckland noise compaint hotline"). We called the hotline at midnight and the noise was quelled about half an hour later. We just wish we had thought to call earlier. Other than this unfortunate event, we enjoyed our stay.
A fabulous apartment, in a great location to explore Auckland. Host was easily contactable, provided everything we needed and was really helpful letting us check in early when our plans changed. Would definitely recommend this stay and host. Loved Auckland with it's beautiful mix of old and new buildings, Civic for A Christmas Carol, Sky tower, beautiful park a short walk etc. Plenty of places to eat/drink and shop!
It was great very clean,check in was a little awkward in dimly lit foyer.The apartment was good with great layout although starting to look a little tired in the bathroom areas.I would stay here again despite being in centre of town it was so quiet.I would recomend this accomadation to others

Just an awesome property in an incredible location. Just a block or so from Britomart, so public transit is a breeze._Full_ kitchen with all of the amenities you would likely have at home. Space was gorgeous and very relaxing. Communication with hosts was A. Our favorite booking in NZ!
Everything spot on with our stay. The one tiny fault is its a little complicated having to find a park and get key prior to getting into the garage/carpark but will be easier mext time. Otherwise everything was excellent inc the location and we will definitely stay again. Thanks

The place has everything and we enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Very minor issue: the bathroom could have been cleaner, with mold in a couple of corners. Also, the parking space was tiny and difficult to get in and out of, but it was still good to have off-street parking.
We had a wonderful three-week stay at Peter’s apartment. The location was superb —everything was so close, with super easy access to trains, buses, and ferries, making it effortless to get around. The apartment itself was cozy and equipped thoughtfully with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Peter, our host, went above and beyond—bringing us an extra duvet without us even asking. That thoughtful gesture truly made us feel cared for. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!
We loved everything about this wonderful apartment. The location couldn’t have been better- only 4-5 minutes walk to Queen St & Britomart train station and buses also going frequently from only a few minutes away. Comfortable, lovely & cosy, well equipped, secure and safe. We loved our stay here and would certainly love to come back if we can!
This was a wonderful location, loft style apartment. Would be wonderful for one or two people. The host gave wonderful directions. Some of the materials inside could use a little bit of a refresh. But overall, the price was excellent. The location was excellent. It's near everything. I hardly recommend. And Peter was excellent to work with.
Great overall stay . Central location , lots of space for a family of 4 . The loft and steps are quite high - not great for elderly or young kids . Great to have a washer and a dryer- bathroom could do with an update , was quite damp with mould . Great communication with owner and easy check in . Would recommend to families waiting a central local location in Auckland.
