The lounger chairs around the pool are a huge fail, they are locked into a very awkward and uncomfortable position, no way to adjust them, possibly to discourage folks from sitting in them longer than 10 minutes. Maybe accept the fail, donate them and buy something usable for guests?"

"Overall, a nice place to stay for a few nights. Very quiet on Sat/Sun. Glad there was a fridge and microwave. Room was clean. Negatives: Jacuzzi jets not working. We got in anyway for the hot water, which was clean. The surfaces had sone weird brown staining, kind of slimy, which was off putting. Bed was too soft for me, but lots of pillows. Worse part was the bathroom. The shower had ugly black and brown stains, not sure if it was mold or not. The bathroom walls had paint peeling all over....

"We liked the retro design of Foothills Motel in Auburn CA. We were also impressed with how clean the room was and the grounds as well. The pool waz a delight with lovely lawn and shade trees. Easy shopping and dinning nearby."
