It's a pretty basic motel, no bells and whistles, which I think is reflected in the price. So, for the price, it's a good value. You can easily walk to Emory campus or Emory hospital from here. I was in a room on the 3rd floor, right at the stairs. I was worried it was going to be noisy, but it was fine. If carrying your luggage up 3 flights of stairs is difficult (no elevator), then you will want to request a room on a lower floor. The "breakfast" is not really a breakfast. There is coffee, a few individual cereal choices with a small carton of milk and store-bought, poor quality, individually wrapped pastries (that would probably last as long as a twinkie). And no place to eat - you are asked to take it back to your room. So, don't expect to eat there.
A very inexpensive tip: rather than providing one mini bar of soap, provide two - one for the shower and one for the sink.
