Location is perfect when attending a UGA football game. It’s walking distance which was the reason for our stay. The hotel said 2 day stay required during football season. However, the room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke that we had raging headaches while inside the room. For non-smokers, it was the worst experience. It was so bad we left early due to our reaction to the odor.

Read some terrible reviews on this place and was pleasantly surprised when we got there. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, smelled fresh, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. if you're looking for a no-frills motel that's affordable on Georgis football game weekends, this is a great place. I'd come back.

Bare minimum motel experience, but safe, quiet and convenient. Good location, short walk to downtown Athens, and bagel place across the street is great for breakfast. Don't forget to ask for the wifi password on arrival. Shower was only very hot or very cold.

The location is with walking distance of a restaurant, a bagel and coffee shop. I had inadvertently booked a smoking room, and the staff were able to make the change to non smoking. The service is minimal but adequate.

Location was good for what we needed. The room was very unkempt. Found previous peoples drug materials and whatnot. We get, you get what you pay for, but it seems like this location is cleaned and sanitize properly. Not sure if I’d ever recommend or return back to that place. Hoping for better for them.

I saw previous reviews and was really worried, but there were no other hotels available nearby for my dates. I brought my own coffee maker, got a non-smoking room, and hoped for the best. It was fine! No bugs, clean sheets and towels, refrigerator, microwave, TV, and internet all worked fine. It was relatively quiet and an easy walk to everywhere I needed to go. Toilet was a little iffy, but it is an older, simple hotel. No breakfast or coffee, and may be a bit of cultural difference that affects the way the owner comes across to some, but both he and his wife were kind and accommodating in all interactions with me. Overall, everything I needed and I have no complaints.

This hotel (if we can even call it that !) was disgusting. Dirty towels / dirty sheets / dirty floors / spackle fixes with no sanding everywhere , furniture looked like it came from a bad garage sale . Walls dirty , bathroom stained sink counter , shower curtain bar barely holding on , paint all over handles , door . Mirror in bathroom held on by cork . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone .. even if on a budget , drive further away from campus and stay somewhere else . And after first walking in I thought he made a mistake and gave me a smoking room cause all I can smell from first step in room was cigarette smoke ! He said no u have a non smoking room but people smoke in hallway and smell gets into room ! Absolute lies ! This room was 100 % smoked in and smoked a lot .. smell never went away . He actually came in with a spray bottle sprayed TWO sprays in air and said that should help !! Take a guess if it helped … DID NOT HELP AT ALL . Also at check in (through a window with woman (who barely spoke English ) said sorry computers down . Come back later . So o had to wait in my car for an hour .. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!

The place was so dirty I had to wear shoes in the room. Loud, staff was unseen, faucets didnt work, ac was loud, lobby was locked the whole time. It was so bad we gave up our last night and went somewhere else
