The staff was amazing and very helpful! Overall, we had a nice stay, but honestly, it wasn’t quite what I expected. The cleaning could have been better, but I appreciate that the housekeeping staff worked hard. Since I was traveling with my baby, I ended up going to Walmart to buy my own cleaning supplies and clean the room myself. My son enjoyed all the pools and the beach, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! If you’re planning a longer stay, I definitely recommend renting a car so you can explore and enjoy the local food. Resort food can be very expensive, and honestly, the quality didn’t always match the price. One thing I would like to mention to Expedia: please make sure customers are clearly informed about any additional fees or charges they’ll have to pay upon arrival. I personally wasn’t aware that there would be a $600 security deposit, and Expedia did not make that clear when I booked. Knowing about these costs ahead of time would really help travelers plan accordingly. Most importantly, my son had a wonderful 2nd birthday! ❤️🎂🎉 Seeing him happy, enjoying himself, and making beautiful memories made everything worth it. At the end of the day, seeing how much fun he had made me feel like I didn’t regret spending the money. ❤️

Villa is beautiful and great location in regard to the pool and beach. It has plenty of room for everyone, clean, comfortable, It is a bit far from San Juan, rainforest, popular beaches. It's a least an hour and traffic could make it longer. Definitely need a car if you stay here. There is a beach on the property. It is a small, secluded beach so you'll need to bring your own umbrellas, food, etc. It is partially shared with a hotel. The hotel side is very clean and maintained, but the villa side is filled with seaweed and a lot of debris near the trees. With no umbrellas, you need to stay under the trees for shade but a lot of debris. Great beach to go to during the day for a quick walk or visit if you can stay on the hotel side. It's not a place to go at night though because there are outside people who gain access from another trail and fish, catch crabs. They hang around the access gate with flashlights because that's where the crabs are. They may not be dangerous, but I wouldn't take a chance. Pool is a very nice but the property staff doesn't clean regularly. We had to clear the pool daily. There was also an incident with the bathroom door getting locked and we couldn't locate anyone from the property. But Alex was great and was very easy to contact and responsive. Nearby there is a beautiful beach Balneario Cerro Gordo which is only about 10 minutes away. Dorado is another close beach for party scene.
