"This hotel is lovely, the rooms are large & amenities are great"

"All good, and I was happy with my room and its king’s sized bed. Unfortunately their fitness facilities and restaurant are currently not in operation, hence you would need to find elsewhere to dine and if you wanted to have some exercise there is a leisure centre about 5 minutes from the hotel. Overall, I cannot complain and was satisfied on my visit."

"Worst sleep ever. Rock hard beds and pillows, the room we stayed in was on the second floor (4 flights of stairs, no lift) and the room was on a slant, the whole place seemed uneven. The worst part though was the other clientele - loud, noisy and banging until well into the early hours, we didn’t get to sleep until 3am after trying and failing to contact the emergency phone line which told us to leave a message and they would respond within 24 hrs - good job it wasn’t an emergency like being locked out! Eventually we had to knock on the door of the person making all the noise and ask them to be quiet, not something you should have to do but the only way we could get some peace. Would avoid this place like the plague."

"Staff here are where very helpful we booked a family room when arriving into our room there was only a double bed and one single for a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children. The staff were very quick to help and re arranged us a new room without hesitation. We had travelled a lot the day of staying. Decided to eat at the hotel was disappointed that there wasn’t a children menu for our children to pick from. Couldn’t fault the food was absolutely Devine for dinner and breakfast was lovely to all fresh even though we were a late comer to breakfast fresh breakfast was brought out right away. Overall happy with our stay. Rooms could do with updating and bathrooms to made not to leak water from the very powerful shower but for a quick one stop shop we couldn’t fault and would highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for being very helpful and friendly specially having two excited children."

"The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. "

"We only stayed for one night, and upon arrival we discovered that there are some substantial building works adjacent to the hotel. This means that the hotel car park is limited to even fewer spaces. Upon arrive at the hotel we had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to check us in. Our room was on the first floor facing the buidling works. Please note that there is no lift in the hotel that we found, so this may impact you if you have mobility problems. It was a warm day, and the room was a lot warmer and even with the window open there was no way to cool the room down, no A/C or fan in the room. The room was small and somewhat cramped and the furniture had seen better days and needed to be replaced in all honesty. The bathroom was modern and clean and did have some nice smellies in there, however we discovered that there was a major leak under the sink, and this meant water flooded into the drawer in the unit and then onto the floor, we think that had been this way for a while. Sleep was erratic as we had to leave the window open to keep us cooler, but the noise late at night from the people leaving the night club down the road was so bad. I know the hotel can't be to blame for this but it did impact our sleep and therefore our stay. We did use the hotel restaurant and the food was good, but service was slow and we wait around 35 minutes for our main course. Would we stay again - probably not. Well not unless it had a good makeover."

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was 1st rate - having been upgraded to an executive room! The general feelfid not come over as a 4* establishment eg Staff attire was very casual and at times slovenly."
