Our upscale, uniquely decorated, open-floor plan studio offers a cozy and relaxed, yet sophisticated mountain ambiance. Get the essence of this amazing Rocky Mountain town by staying here!

We are all about low, lounge-y sofa and chairs that balance, the modern lines with deep comfort.

* We take sleep very seriously!  Our comfortable pillow-top bed is second to none; it's not a pull-down Murphy bed or pull-out couch.

* The spacious kitchen and dining area is more than perfect for small meals. Besides the usual, we offer an ice machine, nice cooking utensils, condiments and coffee!  The dining table doubles as a comfortable work table with reliable Wi-fi and a smart tv.

* A lovely pine tree is the view with a park beyond. The large double pane windows have modern darkening shades for privacy and quietness; the windows slide open extra wide for a breeze. For your comfort, we provide a fan and humidifier.

* We keep the condo as hypo-allergic as possible in consideration of our guests with allergies.  For twenty years we've been using two products from Eco Sense -one to clean followed by a sanitizing, disinfectant made of tea tree oil.

Great location for ski trip

The property is located on the edge of downtown Aspen and a great location to walk to anything you need or want. It's a few blocks from the gondola and an easy walk there as well. The owners were very kind and helpful, and the condo was well stocked and had a washer/dryer. While you don't need to rent a car, if you do there is good parking included. Great property. I will look for it again on my next trip to Aspen!.

Location, location, location!

Wonderful communication with the owner. She was always available for questions. Condo is across the street from a sanctuary with nice walking paths, a stream, and a sense of calm. Easy walking to grocery and to restaurants/shops. Traffic noise is a non-issue with windows closed. Bed is very comfortable, and overall the condo is cozy.

Small, yet well done

The studio apartment fits a couple nicely and is very comfortable. There are plenty of kitchen amenitites and the bed is very comfortable. The location is great and walkable to all of downtown Aspen along with a quick connect to the bike trail. I would not recommend more than 2 adults nor any children. There are a lot of rules to follow.

Ideal location, well appointed, clean and neat .

Our recent stay at this property was perfect. The owner ( Robin) saw to it that everything went smoothly on our recent ski vacation. She arranged transportation from the airport for us ,helped with ski rentals , offered restaurant suggestions; it was like we had a personal concierge! Her condo is at a walk anywhere location. All of Aspen's shopping and dining was close by, as well as the bus shuttle to other ski areas-- no car necessary! I can't wait to get back and stay there again!!!

Great little space close to the slopes

Overall, we had a great experience. The place is small however, contains everything you could need for a relaxing stay in Aspen. Just a few blocks away from shopping, restaurants, bars, the base of the mountain/gondola, etc. Within walking distance of the bus terminal which takes you to many locations within the area.

The owner, Robin, was very friendly and helpful. She knew I was vacationing alone and offered to have a drink with me one night. The condo is very well located, convenient to the market, liquor store and mountain as well as the bus stop. The condo had everything you needed.

Last minute Price change

In October 2015 we booked a 3 night stay in this condo for wedding at the end of March 2016. We followed the standard VRBO process and sent a message to the owner, she came back with a price quote for the three night stay and we paid her in full via credit card (Oct 2015). Three days before we were scheduled to travel to Aspen, the owner called us at 730 am Saturday morning hysterically describing that there was a clerical error with our reservation and we needed to pay more to confirm the booking. She said we needed to pay an additional $250 dollars to use the unit. On the phone the woman made statements indicating that her unit “was such a great value for aspen” and that “paying just $250 more isn't a big deal”. In the end, we decided to book a different condo in aspen on short notice and asked the owner for a refund. She did provide a full refund.

Aspen perfect vacation

We are a couple from NYC, and stayed for most of December. I can't state enough how amazing the host Robin is. Coming from people who use Airbnb frequently, this was probably the most caring and attentive host we ever had. She would check in with us daily and give us recommendations in town. She is friendly, funny and she even went so far as to pull strings and get us into private clubs and events during the busiest time in Aspen : Christmas and New Years season. Overall the apartment is as described, very cozy and everything you need. We saved a bunch by staying there instead of a hotel or hotel/condo especially for a long stay. There is a full kitchen and we prepared nice dinners and meals. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything including the slopes. Overall excellent, would recommend in a heartbeat.

Great little place and welcoming owner

This condo in downtown Aspen is great. Convenient location to go downtown or access the ski resorts. Also the owner was so sweet and welcoming. I'll be staying again next time I am in Aspen.

Summer Vacation

Spent a week in this rental. It was perfect for us. Very close to main shopping/eating area and easy access to hiking trails. The condo had everything we needed and was as advertised. Robin was great to work with and made our arrival and departure easier by working with us on check in and out times.

Great Location

You can't find a better value for the location of this efficiency condo in Aspen. We didn't move our car all weekend, except to drive to Snowmass and we could have taken the free bus there, as it stops right outside the condo. If you want to ski Aspen Mountain, it's just a few blocks away to the gondola. The condo building is older, at the edge of town. Neighbors are quiet and many features inside the condo have been updated. The bed is very comfy, the TV and wifi work well and there is a nice size fridge with updated kitchen should you decide to cook a bit. We opted instead to walk to breakfast at the Spring Cafe, around the corner (nice find) and to try out many of the other great dining options Aspen has to offer. We found the owner, Robin, very responsive before, during and after our stay!

This is a fabulous condo!

I had a great time. The place is clean and in the best location compared to all other rentals listed on vrbo.com for Aspen. This one is actually in town. The condo is very quite. The building is very well built. I entertained some guests who had a great time and yet no one in the building was disturbed.

Wonderful experience in Aspen

We had two visits to this property, one in early summer and one last winter. Wintertime is oh so perfect as the skiing is just right. It's just a hop-skip-and-jump/a quick walk from the condo to lots of inviting and tantalizing sights right there in town. I can say this, after a nice dinner and perhaps a bit too much liquor, the short walk is a heavenly stroll with someone you love. Being so close to everything is a luxury, because if its snowing, securing a cab is quite difficult. This quaint abode is in a very quite location and has a wall-full of windows which opens-it-up. The pine trees outside were covered with snow, which provided a beautiful scene all unto itself. This offered us a lot of privacy, so much so that we shed our clothes and frolicked about with total abandon: free as every! The summertime visit offered us another perfect adventure, simply marvelous! We were so close to the Farmers Market, which is open on the weekends. This was great, as we could pick-up our groceries, etc., and use their shopping carts to bring our purchases "home". Better than that, we could return the carts the next day!!! This condo, although compact, has lots of features, similar to a high-end home. Luxury is the way I'd like to express it. The housekeeper, Ms. Donna, was most understanding and a peach of a lady. She made our visits that much more enjoyable. I did have several occasions to stay in the New Orleans area, ad # 585678. This location, The Carriage House, is a quiet, warm and cozy place. This location is fairly close to many attractions; movies, fabulous eateries, and shopping , just to mention a few places of interest. The furnished abode is great after a day on the road. It offers relaxation to the fullest. Just thought I'd mention this little hideaway, but not as a sidelight, rather as a featured spot! Precious memories have been made here!
