Just across from City Market and in the heart of downtown, the Chateau Aspen can’t be beat. But, between the smoke from the chimney of the restaurant next-door, and the lack of AC (which is not uncommon in mini mountain towns), the horribly uncomfortable bed, and the noise coming in through the necessitated open windows, We ended up leaving a day early. We simply could not get any good sleep, including trying to nap during the days. The dresser in the master bedroom looks like and functions like it was purchased at a garage sale.
