"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lovely food, great amenities and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The vibe is relaxed and it feels like there is a good amount of space so nowhere feels too crowded. We were there just as a couple but there were lots of families and children there but not to the point where it was disruptive if you’re just trying to have a relaxing time. "We absolutely loved Arcasa. The villa was beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable. The outside area was private with high quality sun loungers and patio furniture. Everything that you need is in the villa. We arrived late and Michael very kindly left us some food and water to get us through to the next day when shops would be open. Lovely cleaners came everyday to empty bins etc. The town is fabulous, we enjoyed a coffee in the square every morning and fresh bread from one of the bakeries. You won’t find many tourists here, it’s mainly local which is what we loved. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town serving amazing Greek food. Just be aware that the walk down to the town is very steep and getting back up is a workout after dinner. We were fine with it but definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, take your car instead, once down the hill the town is flat. We loved Arcasa and Archanes and will be back"

"Amazing place if you want traditional housing and don't mind mountainous roads and you plan to travel into town from the village for eating out. The one taverna that serves food only opens at 2000 and isn't open every day. When they are open though they have Amazing food and the waitress was amazing as well. There's places to get groceries if you want to cook for yourself."

"As soon as we got settled in, we started planning for our next trip to stay here. The property is beautiful. Set in the mountains and surrounded by trees, decorated in traditional Greek style, and the garden is like a little paradise. The house is enormous, with plenty of room to spread out and make yourself at home. Only 7 minute drive away to delicious tavernas, but the kitchen is well equipped so it's no problem to make food at home. There is a washing machine and dishwasher that worked perfectly, and the AC in the bedrooms was good as well. The pool was super clean and a real highlight, and the view from the garden overlooks the countryside and down to the sea. Every night we sat on the balcony and watched the sunset and the swallows swoop over us. Vangelis the host is a true gentleman. Communication was excellent, and he had fruit for us in the fridge on arrival. Halfway through our trip he brought us a box of ice creams from a local bakery to enjoy by the pool. He is a lovely man, very helpful and said he was only a short drive away, but we still had privacy to enjoy the house. We had a spectacular stay and our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer. Thank you Vangelis for your hospitality!"
