When we arrived early (around 11am) the whole block was lined with homeless people and a police car at the end of the block. I thought oh no what did I get myself into? When we returned to the property at check in time 3pm the street was for the most part empty and remained that way for the rest of the weekend from what I could tell (we leave the property early and come home late). We were not bothered by the few who remained but I did feel saddened and a little uneasy. I am unsure if I would book the property again but it did serve our purpose to visit and explore Asheville. ##### Pam W.
