The impressive main home is anchored by a hand-hewn log cabin that has occupied the land since the early 1800's. With extensive renovations, the living space grew outward from the original cabin, creating a collaboration of rooms both cozy, with reclaimed wormy chestnut paneling, native stone, and chinked logs, and at the same time expansive, with vaulted ceilings, spacious gathering areas, and delightfully private sleeping quarters. The chef in your group will love the gourmet kitchen with granite counters, custom cabinetry, a gas range, and an adjoining living area, and everyone will love the perfect space for celebrating!

A separate modern log cabin also shares the estate, offering excellent accommodations for friends and family. With its own hot tub and private back deck, the cabin provides room to spread out and includes a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and two spacious bedrooms. The best part? Incredible mountain views from the covered front porch, where you'll want to pull up a rocking chair and pass the day with good conversation.

Important Property Notes
• Pond Repair: Due to a lengthy repair process for the pond following storm damage, the pond in the front yard area is currently drained. We apologize that this amenity will not be available until further notice.
• Approaching the main entrance to Cool Stream Lodge, please note that there is no vehicle access over the bridge. Attempting to drive over the bridge may result in damage to property or vehicle.
• Travel Insurance Highly Recommended
We strongly recommend CSA Travel Insurance to protect your reservation against unexpected events such as inclement weather, medical emergencies, or travel delays.
• Swimming Pool Accessibility. The swimming pool at Cool Stream Lodge is open seasonally between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

This Is a Pet-Friendly Property -- Please Read this Important Information!
• For any reservation with pets, please note that only dogs are allowed. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed on your reservation.
• Failure to pay the pet fee may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
• The pet fee is required; undeclared pets are subject to a penalty fine per the rental agreement terms.
• The pet policies for this vacation rental, which can be found on the last page of your rental agreement, should be reviewed PRIOR TO BOOKING. Thank you!

This reservation includes a non-refundable damage waiver policy. If you would prefer to use a refundable security deposit, please contact our office to provide a check for the security deposit and we will refund the damage waiver. Thank you!
