Just 1.3 miles from downtown Asheville and a five-minute walk to the historic Grove Park Inn, this thoughtfully restored 1913 cottage blends timeless architecture with modern comfort. Set in a quiet, park-like landscape, the home offers a rare combination of privacy and proximity.

A private deck overlooks a dramatic 12-foot waterfall, creating a serene backdrop for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Inside, period details are preserved alongside updated amenities, including hotel-quality linens, luxury bath toiletries, and a 4K Amazon Fire TV loaded with Prime, Netflix, and Hulu. A complimentary bottle of wine greets you on arrival.

Cottage features compact functional kitchen with sink, dishwasher, induction stove top, microwave and toaster oven. Guest access to laundry provided.

I stayed here for a weekend getaway to Asheville and absolutely loved this cottage. Super cute on the inside and in a lovely location. I enjoyed walking around the scenic area. The cottage was perfect. Looks even better in person than in the pictures.

Great Cottage!

I attended a conference at the Omni Hotel up the street, and the Three Bears cottage was an excellent way to leave campus while remaining nearby. It was a great neighborhood, and the cottage was perfect. Highly recommended!

Beautiful little cottage

Loved this beautifully retored cottage in the historic district. It is well appointed with all the amenities in the most peaceful setting. Easy commute to restaurants and entertainment. We even saw a mama bear and 4 cubs on the property! Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful weekend getaway

We loved the property! It was perfect - welcoming the moment you unlocked the door. The hosts have provided comforts that you find in high end hotels - towels and bedding are amazing along with the goat milk toiletries (my favorite brand) Beautiful neighborhood and surroundings with roses and a water feature. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed.

We had a wonderful stay at Three Bears. It is literally a short walk to the Grove Park Inn and is convenient to downtown and the surrounding Asheville area. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and we would definitely stay again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely first visit to Asheville

We wanted to see the art galleries in Asheville and the Chihuly glass exhibit at the Biltmore Estate, but didn’t want to stay there (as friends had). This beautifully renovated cottage sits uphill from the owner’s home next to the entrance of the Grove Park Inn in a very nice older neighborhood. Very comfortable for the two of us. Highly recommended!

We had a great weekend at this place. The inside was clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. But the outside could use some cleaning up. Parking is very tight unless you drive a small vehicle. Also it is within walking distance of the Omni Grove Park inn.
