About this property
Convenient to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, and Blue Ridge Pky.
Our private cabin in the woods is in a secluded, mountainous community. It shares a little over an acre of land with our primary residence, wild turkeys, foxes, deer, and an occasional bear. Just minutes from downtown Asheville, the famous Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn, Black Mountain, and many other fine places. Asheville is sophisticated, classy, and fun, with a vast array of restaurants, craft breweries, yoga studios, music venues, schools and other attractions. You're also very close to the spectacularly scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and other places of rare natural beauty, with dozens of hiking, jogging and mountain biking trails along rivers, lakes and creeks. This split-level studio cabin is exceptionally comfortable for 2-3 people, with a queen-sized bed and futon upstairs in a common area, and a full bath and kitchenette downstairs. There is no stove top but a refrigerator, microwave, instant pot, and electric grill are available for your use. There's a lovely screened-in porch with porch swing, and a hammock is ready for your relaxation under the trees. We provide quality amenities such as snacks, bagels w/cream cheese, soaps, linens, towels, a hair dryer, electric grill, instant pot, crock pot, microwave, dishes and silverware, keurig, books, games, first aid items, blankets and reliable Wi-Fi connection. If you need to do laundry, our washing machine and dryer are available for a small fee. Upon arriving please note there are numerous steps down to the cabin. And unlike other cabin rentals, ours really does have hot water for your shower and bath. You can easily see this is your sweet home away from home.

Very clean and comfortable. Has a great screened in porch with a swing. Bed was very comfortable! Perfect location for taking local hikes or visiting Black Mountain or Asheville.
Perfect place to kick back and relax! Very quiet and serene, with downtown Black Mountain just a few minutes away. The owners who live next door make sure you're stay is comfortable! Thanks Leslie!
Property is cozy and quite. Everything is as described and in excellent condition. Couldn’t ask for better accommodations.

Lovely cabin in a quiet location
We had such a great time celebrating our anniversary. Leslie was very welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed every minute and will be back. The cabin is quiet and perfect for two.
Stayed two nights and it was wonderful. Bed was super comfy. Host was friendly and responsive, she even had snacks!!! Only downside is I only stayed 2 nights.

Peaceful and cozy cabin enjoyed everything it has to offer!
Wonderful experience with very caring and kind property owners. Very cozy and warm and a quiet retreat for me and my wife on our anniversary. Got to visit the beautiful Biltmore and surrounding attractions. Even cooked us an amazing breakfast on our last day. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.
What a gem this little cabin was. Our favorite part was the screened in porch with the swing and lights! We were only there for 2 nights, but enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, which is such a neat city to explore. Leslie was a great host!
Leslie was the perfect host! The cabin was adorable, and she really thought out the smallest things, like having snacks in the fridge when you arrive. The view was so pretty! I can’t wait to visit here again!
We had a wonderful stay! The futon and bed both sleep very comfortably. The heat works great and the water heated quickly as well. Very cute place to stay if you plan on exploring Asheville for most of the day, and relaxing at night! As others have said, there are many steps to get down to the cabin, so pack lightly.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I have to say this stay had everything we expected and more, including hair dryer, snacks, coffee and even a carton of half and half in the fridge (my favorite). The hosts were very hospitable and the cabin was a dream! So quiet and lovely! We even saw a bear! What a treat. Next visit to Asheville we will stay here again.
Very nice cabin. Great hospitality. Husband and I been married for 16 years. 3 kids and crazy busy life. Love the quiet nights at the cabin and hiking during the day. Thank you for a great weekend
This cabin was a perfect stay for our quick weekend trip to Asheville. The host is very accommodating and flexible. The set up is better than most hotels. There is no tv so its all about the site seeing and exploration. The is wifi if you bring your own devices. We highly recommend staying here for you weekend getaway.
All the sparkling reviews are true! Cozy space, well appointed, clean, thoughtful hosts., fabulous porch and swing, easy access to Black Mountain and Asheville, great blend of private oasis in a beautiful mountain neighborhood with great streets for good, walks....Really, the only downside was the tough adjustment to everyday life after staying in such a wondrous place.
We stayed in this cabin during our recent trip to Asheville and have a WONDERFUL experience. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the screened porch is such a treat. We enjoyed coffee there each morning. It was an easy drive from the cabin to the city of Asheville where we enjoyed kayaking and wonderful food. Leslie was an amazing host, welcoming us and offering suggestions for things to do in the area. The cabin was well stocked with supplies and Leslie even provided snacks and drinks for us to enjoy. It was a wonderful visit!

Nice cabin in wooded setting
Very nice setting on hill side below main house on tree covered slope.
The screen porch and swing are pleasant and best I'm sure in warmer times. There is a large single room with queen bed, futon and small table.
The bathroom and kitchette are down interior steps which are a bit steep.
The hosts are very pleasant and engaging people who are helpful. The steps from the parking go down hill to the cabin and it is many steps down and up so don't take a large heavy bag. All in all we enjoyed it and would come again. It is perfect for couple or individual.
Great location, Exceptional Convenience, and Beautiful Views
Our stay in Asheville was very enjoyable and a big portion of what made it so great was the location and convenience Leslie and her cabin provided to us. The cabin location is central making easy to frequent the downtown and surrounding areas often However, it is also far enough so that you get a taste of the nature and beauty the mountains of Asheville have to offer. It is no more than 20 mins to all the main attractions of Asheville. The owner of the cabin is easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. We had water, bagels, and even beer waiting for us in the fridge when we checked in. The Wildlife can be viewed comfortably from the screened porch, which we did often over some morning coffee. I highly recommend this listing and you will feel relax and comfortable knowing you have everything you would need from this cabin.

Perfect Asheville Getaway
This cabin really is lovely. The location is tranquil, with a nice view from the very comfortable balcony and plenty of peace and quiet. Leslie provides anything you might need, from fruit and breakfast bars to a comprehensive set of toiletries to creamer for a (provided) diverse selection of keurig coffee. Bed was comfy, shower had good pressure, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and dishes (though the kitchen really isn't adequate for serious cooking, not that you need it with all the great restaurants in town). Everything was meticulously clean. Communication and check in were super easy, and more than anything, Leslie's hospitality and warm welcome really made our stay special. Extra touches like string lights on the screened-in balcony made it all the more inviting.
The property is about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. It was a fairly easy drive once we learned it, but it was a little daunting finding the place for the first time and I wouldn't have wanted to do it in the dark due to the steep and narrow (but in excellent condition) roads in the neighborhood. Wifi was provided and was reliable enough to look up anything you might need to plan your visit, but too slow for recreational use - this was fine for us, and cellular data/reception was good in any case. Stairs from the parking spot down to the cabin were well lit and not too strenuous, but I wouldn't recommend this rental for somebody who is mobility impaired or who travels with lots of heavy luggage. Aside from those small caveats, I'd recommend this place wholeheartedly and look forward to returning soon!
We wanted a place that could feel like we were alone while being close to everything we wanted to do and Leslies place was perfect. I highly recommend and we will be back!
Leslie gave detailed instructions for finding the cabin and checked on us daily to be sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was close to nature in a quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, and other activities.
