    POOL

The pool at this home is seasonally closed due to weather conditions during the following periods:

Late October through early November (weather dependent)
Early to mid April (weather dependent)

Exact closure dates may vary each year based on local weather. We recommend confirming pool availability before booking if this amenity is essential to your stay.

    ACCESSIBILITY
The driveway and path to the home are gravel. This may make rolling luggage or strollers more difficult, so you may want to pack light or be prepared to carry items to and from your car.

Please note that there are no closets and dressers in this home. There are hangers behind the mirror in the second bedroom and drying racks in the laundry room, which can be used to hang clothing. We recommend packing accordingly, especially for longer stays. A garment bag or travel organizer may come in handy.

This experience knocked it out of the park for

First let me say that this experience knocked it out of the park for us and I wish we stayed longer. I was hesitant to book short-term rentals vs hotels, but this trip reminded of the magic of a wonderful host - including around the clock support with any questions I had. The house is quiet, peaceful, clean, and you can tell everything inside is high quality. The hot tub adds a nice touch. If I were to do my trip all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Pros:The view is a 10/10, absolutely stunning, and the house is designed to take full advantage of it. We arrived to a spotless home that was perfect for our family of four and looked just like the pictures. The pool is small, but our kids still loved it and we all enjoyed the hot tub everyday. There are homes nearby, but the landscaping provides plenty of privacy.Cons:Internet: The internet was extremely unreliable throughout our stay. We contacted the Concierge the first night when the TV wouldn’t work and none of our devices would connect. My husband reset the router, which got the TV working, but we never had reliable internet. This was very frustrating as we needed it to check weather, make reservations, work, access information for activities, etc. We were told the issue was related to storms the prior week.Concierge: The property is professionally managed, and communication with the Concierge was frustrating, with responses often feeling automated. There was confusion about having the internet service provider come out. We specifically asked that they not come while we were at the house trying to enjoy our vacation and offered a day when we would be out. They did not come that day, but ultimately showed up while we were there, requiring my husband to interrupt his time at the pool to accommodate them.Shower: One bathroom’s shower drain does not drain properly, causing the bathroom to flood, so we could not use that shower during our stay.
