The house was beautiful, big, and clean. Perfect for a friends reunion. The location was close to everything - we got to Biltmore and downtown Asheville within 15 minutes. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful with lots of windows and nice views. Very convenient to downtown Asheville. Grocery stores and gas stations nearby. I've stayed at two of Cam's properties and she is always amazing! Communicates quickly and effectively. This location was amazing. A short 10 min drive to downtown. Great views from the living room and back patio. Downstairs pool table is a great place to hang with friends. Essentially, 8 mattresses and two very comfortable couches. We explored downtown Asheville and then took day hikes at Catawba Falls, Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain. Swam at Lake Lure. Cooked nice meals at the house. The road to the house was a bit tricky but the YouTube video provided helped. We did see a black bear walk across the backyard but we were all inside and enjoyed the nature closeup. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the basement area with pool table while the adults visited upstairs. Lots of great memories made in this beautiful area. Home was very clean and comfortable. Cam was a dream to deal with-great quick responses and accurate description of everything. Under 15 minutes to downtown Asheville and convenient to tubing and skiing as well. The location is great with easy access to most Asheville spots. The view from the back of the house is amazing! We did find the drive onto Winterview a bit different- gravel and easy to miss; then a very steep paved road to the house itself. The host was very easy to communicate with and responsive about check-in and check-out times. We did come away with a few suggestions that would make this a repeat rental for sure- While the furnishings are comfortable, they did seem a bit dated. Blinds would be helpful across the back of the house; when the afternoon sun poured in- very bright! Extra hooks or additional towel racks in the bathrooms would have been helpful. A floor length mirror somewhere would have been helpful since we were preparing for a wedding. There is a wood burning stove in the basement and the smell of smoke prevented us from using the bedroom in that area. Overall the house worked well for our number of people. ##### Jean H.
