The breakfast buffet was also very good and had many options for food / beverages. The location was very close to the train station, and about a 15 minute walk from city centre. "We stayed here for two nights at the end of a week long Northern trip, so having spent several days travelling from one location to another, it was a very nice place to come to relax . We enjoyed using the spa facilities. There’s a good gym with a range of modern equipment. The pool is good and sauna, steam room and hydro pool a brilliant. We enjoyed relaxing and reading in the conservatory. The bedroom was modern, clean and the bed was comfortable.Meals were good, but breakfast was a bit disappointing. Food was left standing, so tended to be a bit dry and cool. Not the best quality, but adequate. This is definitely something that could be improved on. Staff were great. Extremely helpful. "
