"Excellent place to stay with a family, our 3,6 and 11 year olds loved the outdoor spaces, the gardens and play areas are fantastic and the lounge areas are also great for families. The room was a good size and the dining room had great food at decent prices, esp as kids eat for £1! You can walk directly from the hostel to many different paths into countryside or dovedale. Our family loved this place, I highly recommend it."

We stayed here for two nights to visit family in the area. We happened to arrive on the day that the bar reopened so it was really busy. The staff were fantastic - they saved a parking space right outside for us and very helpfully let us have breakfast at odd times. Great service, even though they were just getting used to coping with the new covid/distancing requirements. I was also very impressed that they closed the bar for a few hours in the evening as they felt it was getting too busy and...

I can not say enough good thigs about this place. The receptionist Charlotte was super welcoming, friendly and extremley helpful. Natalie the house keep was really accomodating and asked if there was anything extra we needed like: shampoo, towels, pillows. Great staff and a great stay, the room was good, the bed was comfy and the room smelled amazing and was very clean. Def book this place! I would def book this place again.
