"As always, our room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. We were welcomed by reception staff, who made sure we had all we needed. There is plenty of free parking right outside the lodge. Can’t comment on breakfast, as we didn’t have it. The hotel is in a very convenient location, less than a 2 minute drive (10 minute walk) in to the town center."

The cottage is incredibly well-stocked with everything you need (we prepared several meals there), so quiet and close to the most beautiful walks in forests and mountains. "We knew the bathroom was not en suite, but we did not realize how far from our room it would be for middle of the night trips up and down all those stairs! The breakfast was very good. Perhaps they could add some yoghurt. Staff in breakfast room was lovely. No view."

"I'd stayed at the hotel once before and had a front facing room which was just superb. This time I had a back room which had no view so was a little disappointing. On the other hand, being solo and with a dog, it was easier than trying to climb the stairs. It wasn't a big deal as I was only there for one night. There is no allocated parking so it's pot luck along the front. I got within about 100m. There are no evening meals served so it's a walk along the front to a cafe which was fine. The room itself was plenty big enough, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. I'd stay there again, but next time might request a front facing bedroom, the stairs would be worth it."
