"I am sorry to say that when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon after a five hour drive, the property was clearly already occupied. At a busy time of year, it was difficult to secure other accommodation at very short notice. The company operating the rental were, however, very helpful in trying to organise something else, although we sorted the problem independently. "We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). "

"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend.
