Thank you for your stay. We are sorry to see that you didn't have the positive experience that we hope for all of our guests. We just wanted to address some of the comments that you noted in your review. We did notify you that we had issues with the suite you had booked that would not be resolved before your check-in date and we provided you with the option to stay in one of our standard suites with one-bedroom, on the main floor without a balcony. This is the option you chose instead of cancelling your reservation. I would like to point out that the barbeque is not on the parking lot and that if you were low on propane we were just a phone call or message away and we would have replaced your tank. Also there are no structural issues with the building and not sure why you would think there are issues. In addition to the 21 self-contained suites, we are an inn that has an on-site cafe (although closed for this season due to shortage of staff), a conference room for group events, training, meetings, etc., hot tub facility, shuttle service and tour services. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We do wish you well in your travels.

Thank you for your stay with us. It is unfortunate that your expectations weren't met and that your rating of our place is lower than our average rating. I would like to address some of your key points of concern. The reason we ask people to remove outdoor footwear when they enter their suite is to protect the quality of our floors. We have had damage in the past due to small rocks and sand scaping the floor and in the winter time salt damaging the floors. The list of hot tub rules is posted to help ensure the safety of our guests and that they are provided with clear information on the hot tub and not have to go searching for it in their emails. In terms of dishes, as a result of some very large messes left for housekeeping to have to clean up we have had to put this policy in place. When guests do this, it puts a large demand on our resources and slows down our time to be ready for check-in. To resolve this, we have had to request that guests clean up their dishes before checking out, and we have made that easy for them by providing a dishwasher and dishwasher pods. The fee is to deter this issue from happening. The coffee is placed in an air-tight, sealed container for guests to enjoy. For the hot tub fee, it is only for those who use the hot tub amenity, in order to not increase our nightly rates for everyone. We believe this is a fair way of managing the operational costs, labour costs, capital costs, etc of a hot tub. The time slot is 45 minutes which allows a guest booked in the hot tub to get set up, enjoy a hot tub session, dry off and finish up. Again, a guest is only required to pay the fee if they book the hot tub. Since you didn't book the hot tub, this fee did not apply to you. The double bed is what is in the one-bedroom suite. The detailed description of this suite shows this to be the bed size. To have a larger bed, there are other suite types with a larger bed. There is a nominal price increase for the suite with the larger bed. Again, I would like to thank you for your stay. I hope that our response indicates that we value the safety our our guests, the quality of our product, the respect of our staff, and the fair costing of our amenities.
