The Campan Valley is a piece of Heaven on earth, the cottage itself had everything you could possibly want for a family stay and we cooked most of our meals there and played board games in the evening. We met Jean Michel on the evening of our arrival and he had baked a lovely cake to welcome us. We had several outings and hikes in the beautiful surrounding countryside and the sight of the mountains in the morning and the beautiful birdsong is a balm to the soul. There was even a blackbird nesting under the eaves of the cottage with a nest of little ones. We hope to return to this beautiful house and I want to thank our hosts Chantal and 'Mick' for a holiday we will always treasure. Mary Pooley and family.
