"Without a doubt an amazing place to stay and fantastic experience. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Windermere house very much. Beautiful rooms, picturesque views, The highlight of our visit was the dining experience at the Rosseau by far. Lucky enough to have the best seat in the house on the veranda overlooking the lake. The food was exceptional, I highly recommend the lobster bisque. Compliments to the Chef and the staff for their professionalism and hospitality. Our server, Lucie was none other than spectacular! It’s rare to find such a beautiful setting, accompanied by first class, food and service! Thank you Windermere house, we will be back Cheers Jimmy and Meaghan"

"Wonderful.stay! Close to all we needed and we were extra impressed by the breakfast choices! Our little girl is celiac and she actually had options! Pool was great, and room was immaculate would absoluty come back. One thing stuck out to me were the cigarette butts outside; its a silly little thing and probably only stuck out to me as everything else was so clean!"

"We came for our 5th anniversary celebration. The hotel had very warm and welcoming employees. The rooms overlooking the lake were beautiful. The grounds were well maintained and it was great having access to onsite hiking trails, the kayaks and canoe for no extra cost. The restaurant was ok. It was really great to sit on the dock or enjoy the fire pit with marshmallows provided by the hotel. This was a lovely summer getaway!"

"We really enjoyed our little getaway and found the cottage to be a lovely, peaceful place to relax. It was clean, updated, comfortable, and welcoming when we arrived. The property and views were beautiful, and we loved spending time outside, especially sitting on the deck watching the beavers. The surrounding little towns were also wonderful to explore, shop, and wander around during our stay.There were a few things that could have made the experience even better. Communication with the host could have been more timely, as we had to reach out for check-in information and responses to some questions took a few hours. We also needed to purchase a few basic items we hadn't expected to need, including shampoo, coffee filters, and a BBQ lighter.One thing guests may want to be aware of is the access to the cottage. The step up to the deck is quite high, and the main entrance is through the back door, which requires walking over uneven rocks along the side of the cottage. This may be challenging for anyone with mobility or balance concerns.That said, we had a very nice stay. The cottage itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the peaceful property and surroundings were definitely the highlight for us. It was a great place to slow down, enjoy the scenery, explore the nearby towns, and have a relaxing few days away."

"Rob and Roseanne were phenomenal hosts. Cabin was incredibly clean and well tended to. Had access to all we needed. Lots of quiet and privacy.It being a pet-friendly stay made it easy to plan and take the dog for a weekend stay. Would recommend (and stay again)"
