"When we arrived no one was there. We found out 1 door was open. The house was not clean, sticky floors, dirty tablecloth and dust nets every where. Even in the shower. 2 days later we met someone, when we told her about the state of the house she reacted a little bit annoyed. The house is situated beautifully in a quiet environment. There is no washing machine and no WiFi. Maybe something to think about in the future. We spent a week at the house and had a good time. It is a pitty the house...

"I would not reccomend anyone to stay here. we had a nighmare stay the kitchen, bathroom, and shower room were so dirtyUnable to use the kettle it was so bad had to go out and buy one , we had to chuck a bucket of water down the loo each time to flush it The washer was so dirty we couldnt use it . Staes there is 2 bikes there were no bikes in sight . This place totally ruiened our holiday. We were so glad to move on to our next place "

"We had an excellent family holiday at a superb country house in an idyllic rural setting. The owners were very helpful and friendly. They met us at check-in and were always happy to help with anything. The house was ideal for a large family group, with both adults and young children. The bedrooms were tastefully furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view over the lake in the evening was just fabulous. The young adored the swimming pool and the trampoline. We cannot recommend this property highly enough for a restful family holiday."

"It was a lovely little gite, in a nice peaceful area, with beautiful scenery. Situated close enough to Chateabriant to be convenient for sightseeing/shopping/meals out, but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. The host, Melanie, literally could not do enough for us. She was incredibly friendly, informative, gave us good recommendations for places to eat, even did our washing for us! The gite itself was neat, clean and very cool, which was greatly appreciated in the middle of a heatwave. We definitely hope to be back!"

"Hired the chateau with 30 friends who have not seen each other in a long time. This was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at; I honestly never thought I'd stay somewhere as grand. The communication was great and the photos don't do it justice. All the rooms are ensuite and there's a lot of social space for everyone. The hardest bit was getting everyone together in one place!
