"We loved the outdoor area with the pools and hot tubs, it was a beautiful property. The breakfast was very good each morning with enough variety. Our room was a bit small for 4 people and luggage but doable. Understanding we are in the jungle but had a couple cockroaches in our room during our stay that freaked us out a bit. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to be for a few nights"

"We were so impressed by the property. The room was very private with a hot tub and large back deck. The restaurant on the premises served 3 meals per day and had great food that offered local cuisine as well as something for everyone. We would definitely come back or visit their sister property on the Oso Peninsula. Loved it!"

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff. Room was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Enjoyed being right outside of La Fortuna - close enough to easily get to food, attractions, etc., but far enough away for that secluded cabin vibe. Highly recommend booking!"

"The grounds are very beautiful. That was probably the best part for me. Our room left some to be desired. Whim comfortable enough it could definitely use some renovations. Our view was of the laundry are in the back of the office building.breakfast had only 2 options but it was sufficient. While walking distance to town it's a good 20 minutes so keep in mind for rainy or really hot days. Best part was definitely the pools(clean) and grounds which has beautiful plant life and birds. Staff was friendly and nice too. For the price this hotel was sufficient."

"Breakfast was great - lots of variety. Staff was friendly. The room was comfortable but the shower was a bit of a challenge. Scalding hot or too cool but a minor inconvenience. Close to town to enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars but far enough away for quiet evenings."

"Great house, great location! It’s in a gated area, and the hosts are super nice and responsive. The view of the volcano from the back area is amazing. House was clean and had everything you needed! Breakfast with Giuselle was awesome, fun experience to go her house and have a nice meal. Arenal Mundo park and El Salto rope swing were within walking distance. Both were great! Can’t say enough good things about our stay, thank you!!"

"A cheat sheet with instructions was very helpful. Repaired issue with hot water promptly. Needed an extension cord and it was delivered the same day. No metal grilling spatula, no light for the outside laundry area, no cookie sheet, no serving plates, pool paint is peeling, inside and outside couches are uncomfortable, would have been nice to have s pool skimmer net, not enough shampoo/body wash and conditioner for all 3 bathrooms."
