Arco has a rich history with medieval streets, elegant villas and the town\\'s most prominent landmark, the Castello di Arco (a 12-minute drive). The castle is perched on a rocky outcrop above the town and enjoys views of the valley and Lake Garda.   
  
The area attracts climbers from all over the world, and Arco hosts the annual Rock Master Festival, a major international climbing competition. Visitors can also enjoy hiking, mountain biking and paragliding in the surrounding countryside.
