Archangelos Holidays from £488

Not what I expected, especially when seeing consistent great reviews. Corridors to bedrooms felt like I was in a prison. Buffet was carnage. Hundreds of guests in a large canteen style huge room with awful looking school dining chairs. Sunbed’s broken, beach very unappealing. Incredibly huge hotel with hundreds of people and kids running riot. Couldn’t face another day trying to relax on holiday so left early. More like a 3star budget hotel.

Lovely clean, modern hotel. Facilities are good and right on the beach. Friendly staff and lovely big rooms. Downsides are there are dogs in the hotel. We love dogs, but do i want to spend breakfasts sharing them with dogs on seats next to me barking? Not really in a 5* hotel…. Also the location isn’t brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and luxury but the immediate area isn’t the same. We found ourselves renting a car and travelling to Lindos or old town most days. But it was a great base. Possibly over priced for the location I think.

Wonderful hospitality! Appreciated amazing made to order breakfast and help with our plans arranging taxis and offering advice about delicious restaurants. This is a guaranteed return property for us in Rhodes. Walk 2-3 short blocks for beautiful sunset, less than 10 to Elli Beach, walk to Old Town and even ferry if you traveled light. Felt like an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Rhodos in August! Thank you Eleana!

Absolutely wonderful property- location to Old Towne - very easy walk to restaurants and activities. Staff is top notch availability to guests and service. Breakfast was well rounded, fresh and timely. Highly recommend this property in Rhodes.
