Half way between Chania (35 kms) and Rethymno (35 kms); less than an hour to the south coast ans 12 kms from the beach, Vafes (in greek : Βαφές) is ideally located to explore this beautiful island ! Très beau séjour dans ce village authentique de Crète, idéalement situé à mi chemin entre Chania, Rethymno et la côte sud de l'île. La maison est spacieuse et agréable, avec ses 2 grandes terrasses d'exposition différente et sa cour. Tout l'équipement est présent pour passer de bonnes vacances. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour vous faire découvrir les meilleurs endroits de la région. Enfin, bien sûr, la Crète, la gentillesse des crétois, la bonne cuisine... La maison est située à 2 pas d'une excellente, accueillante et peu chère Taverna, bien pratique quand on n'a pas envie de cuisiner. Bref, je recommande absolument ! ##### Sylvie F. La maison et les terrasses sont agréables, la proximité de la taverne typique avec une bonne moussaka maison est un atout supplémentaire. Le seul petit bemol: les ventilateurs dans les chambres ne suffisent pas et les nuits sont chaudes. La pièce de vie où il n'y en a pas était une fournaise.
