"We stayed in a suite with private pool access and that was great for travelling with a little one. Pool temperature of about 30° meant that it was perfect for the sunny weather. Kitchen area is basic - no dishwasher is a shame. Nevertheless it was very useful. Breakfast was reasonable."

In recent years it has become extremely busy. An OK beach has been covered from end to end with sunbeds. Civic amenities have not kept up with massive increase in tourists. Crete is very beautiful but litter is a problem
