    "The room was not as described and not as confirmed in my receipt. Staff only communicated with WhatsApp. It was expensive for the quality. No one is there to help you in a timely manner. There were cigarette ashes on the windowsill, fingerprints on the tv set. There was no minibar as described. A pool was in the listing and confirmed in a text but there is no access to a pool. It’s all inaccurate and not a hospitable experience. It was stressful and it makes me not trustful of Hotels.com I had..."

    "Our stay at the Alagon was wonderful. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the freebies/ extras are incredible including the breakfast buffet. . For value for money the Alagon is superb. It is also centrally located in District 1 within walking distance of Ben Thanh Market and other attractions. The rooftop pool and bar have amazing views over the skyline and the 30 minute complimentary foot massage was divine. Overall a great place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City."
