Very kind staff and clean place. At the center of Antigua Guatemala makes for a very easy and convenient travel experience. Would recommend for anyone looking for a reliable place that isn’t too expensive and it well maintained!

Hotel was ok for a one night and for my needs at the time. It has location at a price: crowded area and noisy at night and early in the morning (from staff mainly) too. Not offered any VIP service/advantage , late check out at an additional fee, without flexibility. I had no breakfast, so no review on food /prices, but food looked very good. Room with standard cleanliness and services. Overall it was an ok standard stay at a stunning city.
Hotel is located and it is part of an iconic sight in Antigua, The Arch of Santa Catalina, I stayed one night, room was excellent, no issues with the services, their restaurant offers a nice variety of fresh, home style prepared food, front desk staff was extremely attentive , professional, restaurant staff was likewise professional and friendly, room rates was comparable to similar hotels, I will definitely come back to the Convento
A great and very affordable place to stay, located right in the heart of Antigua. The restaurant had very tasty food, excellent service, and live music on the weekends. The staff, especially Claudia, made our stay easy. Aura cleaned our room and left it sparkling. The shower and hot water were better than the most expensive hotels.
Everything was fine until I found a roach in my room and my guest room room number #1121 and room #118
Other wise it will be and excellent review.
But I will like to thank the staff for their service and their service.
I like the location very centric in a tourist area and near everything. No amenities, wifi never worked and being and old building there is no AC so it has a rustic smell that gets stronger when it rains.
