"Better than we expected. Booked one night and stayed for three because it was so relaxing. It’s true, you hear some noise from the nearby 2 lane road, but only in outside areas. Besides that, the suite was so roomy, well decorated, balcony view overlooking endless olive groves and villages. Delicious breakfast is included…real food, ..fresh cucumbers & tomatoes, cheeses, eggs and bacon, cheese and spinach pies, pastries, yogurt, fruit. Wonderful staff. Reasonable price. We will be back."

"This is an absolutely charming house bursting with character but at the same time very practical to live in. It is as pretty as the photographs suggest. There has obviously been careful thought as to what visitors would need in the house to make the stay enjoyable.We found it to be quiet with just the normal life of a village going on around us. In particular we loved the completely private pool with a lovely view, and the front courtyard, which ensured there was always somewhere sunny or shady, depending on your needs.Stelios was particularly helpful with recommendations both before and during our visit.It is quite possible with a car to visit as far west as Rethimno, East to Agios Nikolaos (we liked Kritsa with it's crafts and frescoes) and as far south as Phaestos, which I preferred to Knossos as it was so much more atmospheric.Heraklion itself is an easy 25 minute drive and the port carparks always had spaces, were inexpensive, and an easy walk to the old town and fantastic museum.All in all a lovely base to visit that part of Crete."

Sie ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Besonders toll ist die Lage: Das Meer ist keine 20 Meter entfernt und eignet sich direkt vor der Unterkunft hervorragend zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln.Ein weiteres Highlight unserer Reise, der Listis Beach, ist mit dem Auto in weniger als 15 Minuten erreichbar.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gemeinsame Essen mit unseren Gastgebern Eleni und Kostas, die extra für uns gekocht haben. Das war eine sehr schöne und persönliche Erfahrung, an die wir uns gerne zurückerinnern werden.Bei Fragen oder Problemen war unsere Gastgeberin jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Auch für Familien mit Kindern ist die Wohnung bestens geeignet – es gibt Spielzeug und sogar ein separates Kinderzimmer.Alles in allem war es für uns ein rundum gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen."

"We absolutely loved Arcasa. The villa was beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable. The outside area was private with high quality sun loungers and patio furniture. Everything that you need is in the villa. We arrived late and Michael very kindly left us some food and water to get us through to the next day when shops would be open. Lovely cleaners came everyday to empty bins etc. The town is fabulous, we enjoyed a coffee in the square every morning and fresh bread from one of the bakeries. You won’t find many tourists here, it’s mainly local which is what we loved. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town serving amazing Greek food. Just be aware that the walk down to the town is very steep and getting back up is a workout after dinner. We were fine with it but definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, take your car instead, once down the hill the town is flat. We loved Arcasa and Archanes and will be back"

"Staying here was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We were here with two college aged children. We did the wine tour, which was fabulous! The breakfast is to die for! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an epic experience. Only two things to be aware of... 1. There were a number of slow moving, hard shelled small bugs. We realized it was just part of being in the middle of a vineyard and my husband and son made a game of how many they scooped up and released outside each evening. 2. One of the twin beds squeaks a lot. Thankfully my daughter was a good sport about it. And it didn't detract from the 99% of the stay that was amazing! Hope you create beautiful family memories there like we did!"
